No. It's far too small for that. I've been on windy beaches with this kite. It's great for general kiting and for training to use larger foil kites but it's not a jumping kite unless you are a kid under 50 pounds. :)

Yes, with good wind (10-15 mph) you will get a full body workout, and if stronger and gusty you will be hanging on for dear life. Be sure to understand the concept of the "wind envelope" so that if the wind gets really strong you know where you can position the kite to prevent the control bar from being ripped out of your grip. This is a very fun kite.

The Tantrum would provide minimal-moderate pull depending on wind strength, but could be used to kite with a landboard or snowboard over hard pack
