I strongly dislike it. My cats don't usually stay for baths and it is important to have a shampoo that washes off on the first go. This shampoo is really hard to wash off. It needs to either diluted and then put on the cats or you need to keep rubbing the same area till the lather is gone.

My 12 year old longhair cat got poop stuck in her fur, all around her backside. She had a huge accident, and the poop was everywhere. It was tangled in her fur, down her tail, on her legs, and needless to say she smelled horrible. I emergency ordered this product with same day shipping. When it arrived I grabbed my poor poop covered cat and got her in the tub. This stuff lathered up real well and I was able to rub it in all over the poopified areas of her body, which she wasn't thrilled with, but what do you expect? She's a cat who is not only covered in poop, is now soaking wet. I rinsed of all the shampoo and got her wrapped in a towel and dried her off as best I could. For the next couple of hours she was pretty mad at me for getting her all wet, which is fair. But eventually she came around and I was able to pick her up and give her crotch and backside a good sniff. I was thrilled to find the poop smell was all gone and replaced with the magic of Arm and Hammer. So I'm very happy with this product and with the low price. Now my cat is no longer a stinky poop covered kitty.

Lathers up well and gets the dirt out, left my cat smelling nice and her fur soft. She got into something rancid outside one night and after a bath I couldn’t smell it at all. Great value for money, no sticky residue, washes out well, two weeks later her fur is still soft and no skin irritation.

I love that it’s a foam and can easily be distributed on your cat’s coat. I put some on a comb and then lightly brush it through and then massage it into their fur. Both of my cats don’t mind it, and they smell lovely. And what’s most important, the ingredients for the scent are cat friendly and non-toxic to them.

At first we saw the waxy residue like the other reviews stated, but then after a couple days (after the cat had finished some of her self-grooming) the residue went away and her fur was left way cleaner and softer than before. Pretty satisfied with these results since it was a waterless foam. Our cat is short haired so it’s not necessary to give her a full bath. She was just starting to smell like fish after we gave her some wet food which made her mouth stink, and after this product, there is no smell. Highly recommend if you have short haired cats. Don’t be worried about the residue at first, once the cats lick off the excess, their fur will be soft again and will look better than before
