We LOVE this gate! I installed it at the top of stairs and needed a gate that was solid, very secure and especially no bottom bar to trip over!!!This one checks all the boxes! It opens easily with one hand and latches back with just a good pull.I repeat there is nothing flimsy about this gate! It is strong and solid!I highly recommend and would buy this again!

This gate is very well built and thoughtfully designed. Installation was straightforward—not overly complicated—and the instructions were clear. Once installed, it operates smoothly and feels very secure. One of the best features is that it can swing in either direction, which adds flexibility depending on your space. Most importantly, it’s difficult enough that a toddler can’t open it, which gives us peace of mind. A great safety solution that looks and functions well.

This 'HUNTEA - No Bottom Bar Baby Gate for Stairs and Doorways' is made for Dogs! The product information and AnnJ's review is spot on in my opinion. It is too flimsy to trust it to keep a child from pushing on it and falling down stairs. It would be fine at the bottom of your stairs but not the top!Screen grab from Amazon on this product below. I personally would not use this for babies or toddlers at the top of stairs. It will not take much pressure or weight for a youngster to break through this. I just 100% wouldn’t. Mom of 4 and I’d be too anxious if using for stair safety! Please, if you’re considering it for the top of stairs, look elsewhere. The directions for the gate aren't fantastic and the templates are kind of difficult to use. You really shouldn't install it directly to drywall. I ended up making blocking for each end and secured that into studs using 2 1/2" screws. The included screws stripped out quickly (even with pilot holes). Grab some screws from a local hardware store if you plan on reusing the gate or moving it at any point.

Omg! This gate is the perfect size for the top of the stairway! I love how it extends! Nothing on the floor to trip on!

We love these gates we bought for our vacation home to protect our 15 mo grandchild from falling down the stairs. Loves how easy they were to install with the enclosed template. And the video was also helpful. They are very sturdy but at the same time easy to open to pass. Great product

Was easy to install on my wall and have it attach to my banister. Is strong my toddler will stand on the bottom rail and it holds her(25lbs). Has a stopper so it doesn’t swing past the catches. Easy to open

We purchased 2 of these gates.One for the top of the stairs to keep my granddaughter safe from falling down.The other one for the bottom of the stairs to keep her safe until she was able to learn how to climb or walk up safely
