Great quality, looks good, feels good and the price is right
For reference - like my father before me and his father before him, I am built like a beer keg with arms and legs. My torso is very broad with some extra cushioning, while my arms and legs are lean and muscular. Did I mention I'm relatively short? All this make buying clothes that fit right a huge pain. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this shirt from RIGGS. Quality: Good quality for the price. Just based on the look and feel of the fabric, seams, etc., I would say this seems to be very durable, although perhaps not quite as high quality as Carhartt's twill work shirts. All the same, I think this shirt should be able to take a beating and keep on... well, not much of anything, its a shirt. But it will keep the sun off your back and the wind off your arms. Fit: As I mentioned above, finding shirts that fit is a chore for me. I usually fall between a large and X-large in button-up shirts. Out of the box, this fit a tad big in the body and long in the arms, but it was acceptable. After a single wash, this the shirt shrank just a little bit, but enough to make it fit exactly like I wanted. Enough room to move and work, but not hugging at my embarrassing man-curves. I have very broad shoulders and this fit well there too. I have a muscular chest and "ample" beer belly, and this fit comfortably over both without being too big. Length is enough to tuck in and stay in for me, but I am on the shorter side, so YMMV. The length is also short enough that I can wear it untucked and not look like I'm wearing a skirt. For comparison, another option you are likely considering is Carhartt's twill work shirt. I found the Carhartt shirt to be much larger than this shirt in every measurement. If you wear a large in the Carhartt, you might want to size up in the RIGGS. Appearance: It is a work shirt, so fashion comes second to purpose; however, I think this looks pretty good on me. I wouldn't wear it to date night, but I wouldn't think twice about wearing it to "the Wal-Marts" if I'm in the middle of a project and need to grab more supplies. It could also be a nice casual shirt on cool fall or mild winter days. Conclusion: I highly recommend this work shirt, especially if, like me, you find the Carhartt work shirts to be unsatisfactory. Also, the price on these is hard to beat.

As close to the perfect practical shirt for guys ever made. Yes, it's true.
I have these shirts in multiple colors. I like the denim color the most, just like a pair of faded jeans. The black is very black, and the blue is very dark, almost like a washed out black. Burgundy is nice, the green and tan are okay but look more like uniform work shirts color wise. The shirt is cut well, some shirts in this category are shapeless. They don't wrinkle, just fold or hang up out of the dryer, like blue jeans. The material is heavy, like thick denim and will hold up in the field. It can be a bit hot during the summer. Important for me is the shirt tails are the right length to stay tucked in. I am six feet, 189 lbs. and a size large is perfect. I prefer a shirt with a button down collar and long sleeves, with the sleeves rolled up and tails tucked in. I also like having two sturdy pockets and a pocket for a pen or pencil. Saves me from loosing my pen when I bend down for something. Like the headline says for me these are perfect and check every category. Button down collar, wrinkle free and comfortable, well tailored, good colors, two pockets, very durable for trade work but also look good for casual wear, and shirt tails that stay tucked in!

Good work shirt, great styling! However...
I have difficulty imagining how "heavy" a given once rating of a garment will be when worn or felt with the hand. I was hoping for something I could use as more of jacket than a shirt. This one is a bit light for that purpose. However, the shirt appears to be well made and fits comfortably while allowing freedom of movement. I also like the styling of the shirt. One star deducted for a missing button upon arrival. It was in the package but had come loose from the collar lapel. The seller offered free returns but it is not worth the hassle, and wait. Wrangler should pay closer attention to details in final inspection. That being said, I was impressed by the small cloth backers behind each button. The shirt construction theory is sound and the garment should hold up well providing more process/workmanship issues are not present.

I love these shirts
I love these shirts. I was looking for a thick cotton shirt that would stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer, be durable without requiring a lot of care. This is the shirt! I live in Phoenix, AZ so cool in the summer means 110+ degree weather. I've found the khaki shirt to be excellent for this as the light color doesn't over heat and the cotton material breathes well even when sweaty. Winter is general a low in the 30s to 40s, so I can frequently wear this without an additional jacket as it is thick enough to retain a good amount of heat. For me, durable means extensive back and elbow wear as I have a desk job and am frequently moving in my chair. The burgandy and khaki shirts I've purchased are my favorites and they look great with jeans or slacks, whether I am consulting in the field or office. The color stays through repeated washings and I was surprised to find I had purchased my first shirt nearly two years ago now. As my other shirts wear out, I'm planning to replace the rest of my work wardrobe with these as I feel much more comfortable and confident when wearing them. For me the size is spot on, I'm 5'7" 185lbs, wearing a large. The cuffs are comfortably snug when buttoned on the inner button, but not too loose on the outer button. It feels very roomy and does not untuck when I raise my arms above my head. Best work shirt I've ever owned.

Very comfortable feel although a tiny bit big to be perfect for my liking but I'll still order another in a different colour.

Great shirt!
Good quality, durable and comfortable material - looks smart enough for casual wear but excellent for workwear. Sizing is good, but a little on the large side
