"Simply Hario" V60 Glass Pour Over Coffee Set, Size 02

I give a high recommendation on this set. I was influenced by someone who commented that Hario is primarily a glass making company. Indeed, both the dripper and the carafe are *very* nice pieces of glass. The carafe merits particular comment, because the photographs I saw of it did not convey how well made and attractive it is. The two pieces together are a perfect combination Moving on to the coffee geek issues, my experience so far with brewing has been very satisfactory. I know there are people who argue for plastic because it reacts differently to heat, but I just give the dripper a pour of hot water before brewing, and the results have been fine. Footnote: don't worry about the supposed complications of using the v60. Just find a basic recipe and you will be amazed how easy it is to get a great outcome. This is a fine product that will look great at your coffee station, and also perform as you wish. Total positive rating.

She is so beautiful! I absolutely love this pour over set, and it's everything I wanted. Love that it comes with filters, and they are great quality and make my coffee taste great. Maintenance is also very easy–I just rinse the top half, throw out the filter, and hand wash the bottom half. It definitely makes a lot more coffee than I expected. Only downside is the glass fogs up so I can't 100% see my coffee while it's brewing! But that's alright. The glass on the bottom half seems a bit thin, so I will try my best to be careful with it.

Love this set, so pretty and functions perfectly but be ever so careful as it's pretty fragile.

This Hario product which is made in Japan, all glass is the best minimalist coffee making system I've found. Eliminates all the plastics and the bad health effects they can cause. If you want Just Pure Coffee in the mornings, this is the One ! You can even use your No. 2 Melita brown coffee filters just fold them to conformity and Waa Laa ! The glass carafe holds just enough coffee for the person who wants two or more cups in the morning. I gave my Mr. Coffee Maker away ! My Rocket Espresso machine is in storage, life is short, get your Coffee now !

I switched to the "Simply Hario" Size 02 after using a Bodum pour-over with a metal mesh filter for over 10 years, and I am thrilled with the upgrade. The all-glass borosilicate design is gorgeous and looks so cute sitting on the back burner of my stove. Best of all, it is incredibly easy to clean. The coffee is crystal clear with zero murky sediment at the bottom of the mug, yet the paper filter still lets just a touch of the natural oils through on top to give it great body. A full pot makes about 20 oz, which is the absolute perfect amount to fill my large morning mug with just enough room left over for cream and milk. Quick Tip for Pre-Ground Coffee users: If you use pre-ground coffee, the finer grind can cause the water to stall out and cool down if you pour too slowly. To keep it piping hot, just pre-heat the glass carafe with hot tap water first, and then use 2 or 3 large, full pours to quickly force the water through the filter. My custom spiced Mexican chocolate coffee comes out steaming hot every time now. Highly recommend!

I wanted a minimalist, all glass pour over set. This gets me as close as possible that I could find. NOTE: Minus 1 star because the mount/holder and handle for the V60 funnel is actually PLASTIC. - that said, no plastic touches the coffee/water flow area but it still makes the whole thing feel a bit cheaper. That said, it LOOKS like glass until you touch it. Overall best value and price for the most minimal glass (not ceramic) setup. Makes a great cup of pour-over when used correctly and super easy to clean!

Love the clean, simple design of this pour-over coffee maker. The glass holder feels way safer than the plastic one I had before, which smelled like it was melting. Made in Japan—great quality and peace of mind!

Best equipment to brew coffee. The taste blooms like a flower. I can feel every notes and flavours of the coffee with this brewer. I tried the same beans with french press and v60, and I must say the taste is like heaven and hell. It is easy to use, but hard to master ngl, and the size is perfect. Functional as well.
