Great Machine-highly recommend
I previously owned a Jura machine from 2004-2010. Could not tell you the model but I absolutely loved it. When it finally broke I've tried everything over the past decade...pour over, cold brew, drip, perc, French press, Keurig and Nespresso. All have their advantages and flaws but it boiled down to this; if you want a single cup of hot coffee, ground fresh, strong with a nice crema and you don't want to jump through hoops to do it....you'll have to get one of these machines. PROS- The coffee is hot and outstanding. Both the strength and volume can be adjusted to your taste. The cappuccino is also outstanding; very easy ,the milk froth is very fine , heats up quickly and cleanup is quick. I would describe the espresso as good, but nothing special. My wife and I only like the occasional espresso, so it works well for us. For just under $1000, highly adjustable and programmable and uses an adjustable burr grinder.. We are empty nesters, and do about 5 or 6 drinks a day. The bean hopper (about 7 oz) last quite a while before refill, as does the 64 oz water tank. The machine heats up quickly from the off position and dispenses your drink of choice quickly. Essentially cleans itself and looks nice on the counter.CONS- Instructions are not good. You pretty much need to play with the machine on your own to figure out the settings, which are not particularly user friendly. Buttons, knobs and overall feel is somewhat cheap and plastic. Knobs dial to your desired setting via a 90's looking LED screen without snapping into place. Would like to see a little more metal.Overall however, the PROS far outweigh the CONS. The machine does exactly what I purchased it for and does it well. And once you figure out the settings and make them permanent, it is easy to use. Very happy with it.

The only coffee I drink now!
What I love about it:-It makes the perfect cappuccino!!-It's easy to pre-set the size and strength of your coffee as well as the amount of milk-The milk for the cappuccino is amazing! What I don't love:- Tall cups don't fit even with the adjustable height of the dispenser.- When you're in a hurry you better make sure you got your tray empty, water tank filled and grounds filled because I get annoyed when it's telling me to do that when I don't have time.-You have to keep the milk dispenser clean! I rinse it out after every use which is a process the way I do it (Instead of taking off the tube and rinsing it off I put water into a small cup and turn the milk function on. This heats it up and runs the water just as it would do with the milk.) The milk will not froth if you don't help it clean. I also bought the milk dispenser cleaner and use that once in a while.-It is quite loud which doesn't bother me at all but wanted to point that out. With all that being said I absolutely love this!

Had to be returned due to faulty side panel assembly. Jura was great about getting us a new one.
Got the awesome coffee flavor I was expecting from this machine. I loved my first Jura (Ena Micro 1), and expected the same satisfaction from this one. It didn't disappoint. Simply push a button and you get great coffee EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! So simply. There's so much luxury in that. However, the overall fit and function of this unit could be better. Unit had a side panel improperly assembled (Jura replaced the unit promptly) and a knob that was not properly seating into place. The covers feel like they don't fit very well over their spaces. The tray assembly feels like it doesn't fit into it's place very well either (you have to just wiggle it around until it's all the way in and then you have to ignore the nagging question in your mind that is saying "Is that really where it is supposed to be? It doesn't feel right"). Button tactility and knob tactility are not good either. Definitely a low end feel to it.This is Jura's entry level and it shows. I guess I was expecting the nearly perfect fit and finish of the original Jura Ena Micro 1. That machine was in on entirely different level of refinement.Happy with the coffee. That's the most important thing. But common Jura. You can do better on overall fit and finish for machine that runs nearly a thousand buck.

Nicely built machine; Very good coffee; Amazon Shipping box needed better buffering
Very nice machine; Makes good coffee; Really enjoying it. First unit was damaged during shipping. Getting a replacement unit from Juri took quite a bit of work and turned out not successful, but got a new one next day after calling Amazon. The Amazon packing box was too tight for the machine. Two Sides of the machine were in close contact with the original Jura box and Amazon shipping box. During shipping, apparently something heavy or sharp hit the side of shipping box. The impact left behind a big hole on shipping box and shattered the water tank. The impact apparently did more damage than just the water tank. The machine would turn on and make the normal working noice but no water come out from machine. The replacement unit was shipped in a bigger Amazon box with enough air gap between boxes but still no buffering material. It looks like machine is not very impact resistant so handle with care!

Best Value of the Jura lineup
This machine makes 3 basic coffees; espresso, regular coffee and cappuccinos. All very simple and delicious. It of course produces hot water for tea as well.If I have a complaint it would be that the milk frother assembly is really tucked in and is difficult to grab to remove for cleaning (which is important after each day that milk drinks have been made. This unit uses the same components as higher end models, just lacks capacity and features that we don’t care about. This unit replaces a C1300 that we loved for nearly 15 years before being put out to pasture. We would by the D6 again.
