Bino Bandit - Water-Resistant Binocular Eyeshields to Block Glare and Reduce Eye-Strain- Alpine Mountain Camo

This is really easy to install and it works GREAT! It totally cuts all side glare so you can see clearly on sunny days. The little clip designed to pull it together to supposedly protect your optic lenses is kind of a joke. It doesn't really do that good of a job, and the clip is clumsy, and slow, to operate. I just don't use it that way. I fold it down and use the regular optic cover. Works better and is much faster.

I love that these fit any binos, and after spending over $480 on my Vortex, this $20 addition is my favorite part. They are soft on the eyes because of the thin neoprene. I see sharper images because I'm not straining to block out the sunlight creeping in from the sides of my face.I have 2 cons: 1) I wish they were a little bit thinker so they would be a little more rigid. 2) Because it tightens up the eye space, it traps the humidity and fogs the lens easier than without them.But these are two cons that I can live with, given the benefits achieved.

The product does reduce glare and works well, however the small clip is very difficult to unclip.

unfortunately they do not stay on well on any of my binoculars. They work well for the sun protection and that is positive, but they frequently loosen from both my Vortex and Nikon birding binos.

They're just a bit tight tight/hard to get on and off my Nikon 8x40 ATBs, but still usable and very helpful.

These light blockers have become an important binocular accessory for both daytime use (high powered binocular glassing under sunny conditions) and nighttime use (when blocking local light from your eyes helps pupil dilation). I also use a pair on a specialized solar telescope. They work well and I have three sets -- my only reservation is that given the modest size and low tech nature of this product, it seems very expensive for what is essentially a small piece of elasticized fabric.

Poor eyecup remedy on Canon 15x50's read it on a review. Turn the eyecups down and use the bino bandit - for me it is almpst perfect. Only problem is that it tends to fog a bit in the cold.

Leider hatte der gelieferte Bino Bandit zwei weibliche Schnallen und konnte so nicht zum Schutz der Okulare geschlossen werden. Ging zurück, aber trotzdem ärgerlich.

Sehr schlicht geschneidertes Teil aus Neopren mit zwei reingeschnittenen Löchern von ca. 3 Zentimeter Durchmesser, nicht einmal rund geschnitten, sondern katzenaugenförmig! Die Löcher sind so eng, dass ich beim Überziehen über mein Fujinon 10x50 die Gummiaugenmuschen abgezogen habe! Die Hülle ist auch zu klein geschnitten für die meisten astronomischen Gläser, da muss ich sie fast auf die Augenmuschel setzen. Optimal sitzt es auf meinem DDoptics Pirschler 8x56.Fotos und Beschreibungen der verschiedenen bei Amazon angebotenen Modelle (es wird nicht klar, ob die sich nur im Muster unterscheiden) sind irreführend. In der Beschreibung steht "ziehen Sie es für eine perfekte Passform fest" - da ist nichts festzuziehen, man kann es bestenfalls zurechtruckeln.Für astronomische Gläser mit großen Okularen ungeeignet! Ansonsten mit Vorbehalt. Löcher besser nicht rund schneiden, werden dann u.U. zu groß.Wo und wenn es sitzt, ist die Abdunkelung allerdings perfekt.
