I love this clock. Everything about it is great. Charges my phone, acts as a Bluetooth speaker, has large number display I can read without fumbling for glasses in the middle of the night, adjustable brightness setting, and it stylish so it looks like a piece of decor, not a clock. So cool. I’m buying one for every bedroom in the house.

This combines a few tech things, older and newer, such as the printing trick for the see through wood grain, a nice aesthetic, a digital FM radio, a clock, Bluetooth (Named after an ancient Viking king.) and wireless charging into a well integrated alarm clock radio package.I am a technophile by nature and a technologist by trade and I know that just because you can apply technology or combine a few in a single product it does not mean that you should do it because the result is often sub par or trips over itself trying to do too many things.PROS:Display blends into the wood grain overlay on the frontSetting time and alarms is very straight forwardDigital FM is spot on and very clearSpeaker, if turned up is loud and decent clarityIllumination is easy to adjust, even if you are in a darkened or totally dark room.Qi charging.USB charging plug in the back if neededCONS:The only Con I might have is that the speaker is fully exposed with no physical protection to avoid damage.

I was looking for a vintage-looking/woodgrain bedside alarm clock with wireless and USB charging options and AM/FM radio. I tried a different product at a store that had everything but the radio, but it was too lightweight and slid every time i put my phone on top, so I took it back.This one functions well and is heavy enough to stay put on a bedside table anytime you put your phone on it. Settings are easy to understand and set up. The numbers are large and easy to read with different brightness settings. The radio has a wire antenna and picks up stations fairly well, with both tune and scan functions. The only other function it doesn't have that would put it over the top would be Bluetooth connectivity.One complaint I have with it is that the buttons are too easy to press, so it's easy to accidentally change settings or turn the alarm on/off when you don't want to. I recommend familiarizing yourself with the button locations and functions, so you aren't fumbling around, trying to figure out how to turn the alarm off in the middle of the night. It would have been helpful if the settings buttons were recessed more or put on the back of the clock, where they'd be less likely to be accidentally pressed.There also isn't a wireless charging indicator light, so you have to look at your phone to be sure it's aligned correctly and charging. It would be convenient to at least have a small indicator light for charging.My final complaint is that the wireless charger doesn't have enough juice to charge a phone if it's completely dead. I had to use another wireless charger to jumpstart my dead phone battery before putting it on the clock.Other than the wireless charger power and minor issues with settings buttons, it's a stylish, good-quality alarm clock/charger with lots of features.

Love this thing! Really appreciate the ability to dim the time display! Also charges the phone very quickly! Not heavy but not cheap light junk either! Nice heft to the unit that keeps it from sliding all over the night stand as you hit the snooze button!

I was a bit concerned with quality based on some of the negative reviews by others, and since I’ve only owned it now for a few weeks, we’ll have to wait and see. But if it continues to work as well as it has so far, I couldn’t be happier with this clock.Things I like…1. It looks great on my cherry/pecan night table2. It takes up about the same amount of space as my iPhone, which I used to plug in separately to charge at night, and lay it next to my old alarm clock, and now I simply lay it on top to charge.3. Operation is fairly intuitive, but if necessary the included instructions are thorough and easy to follow / understand.4. Buttons for the alarm on/off & snooze are very easy to locate by feel.5. The sound of the alarm itself is really nice, as it starts off very low and gradually reaches full volume (that you set it to) in maybe ten seconds or so. Much nicer than full volume blaring at you all at once.6. I did not buy this for the radio feature, and I actually coiled up the antenna and taped it firmly to the back so it’s pretty flat and out of the way. That being said, I nevertheless was curious to see how well it might receive a few of my local stations with the antenna in that position, and they all come in loud and clear! To be fair, I do live on Long Island, and my favorite stations are all within probably 10 miles or so. Either way, I do find myself now listening occasionally to the radio because it’s so easy to turn on & off with the simple push of a button.UPDATE March 2, 2025 - Still working like a charm!!
