Uni Penmanship Writing Wooden Pencil - Hexagonal Body - 4B - Pack of 3

I bought these because number 2 pencils were not working on the cheap paper of the crossword puzzle books I have. You could barely see what I had written. These are super-dark, and easily visible on the paper.

This is definitely one of the best pencil for drawing. The pencil diameter is standard, but the lead core is much wider than regular pencil. Once sharpened, the exposed lead is very long and useful for shading.As writing experience is not as smooth as "hi uni" range, but is to me is actually more preferable.The only downside seems to be the lacquer coating being a little fragile and bite marks from sharpening machine gets a little too much.

The media could not be loaded. As I love a triangular barrel, I was pleasantly surprised by the purchase from a listing that showed hexagonal barrel.Mitsubishi never fails to impress. I would be remiss if I failed to note that the US (General’s) and German (FC 9000) 4Bs I use are not nearly as smudgy as the Uni. I can write with those 4Bs. If I wrote a letter with the Uni 4B, it would be a mess. As I want for shading, it’s terrific.
