I have the 32 gb rectangular version of this product. It also says that it is made in the US, but the box it came in says that it is made in China. I would still buy again, because it works well and is easy to use.

There are no sound or light after the device start recording. Slide button to "ON" or “V” position to start "Normal Recording" or "Voice Activated Recording", after indicator light be off, the recording starts and there are no sound or light during recording.

The battery can last about 24-30 hours on voice activated recording mode after fully charged. If you choose lower bit rate at "FACTORY" file , it may record longer.

How to improve sound quality?

There are several ways to improve sound quality. 1. Keep the recorder in a stable place to avoid any friction 2. Don't record while at charging. 3. Open file “FACTORY” at recorder's drive on computer, change larger number after "BIT RATE" to get clearer recording. 4. We suggest you can listening recordings via your high quality earphones.
