It is water tight and has a tough fabric that has not yet worn by catching blackberry thorns while mowing near them. It keeps dirt and grass out of my boots. On a hot day I will remove them them to see sweat drenched the legs after a few hours. I will look for a breathable version for that. For cooler weather, these work well and tolerable in hotter weather.

I bought these for my husband who works as a meter reader in any sorts of weather...he loves them! They keep rain and snow from falling into his boots and his legs and especially calves warm.As mentioned before, they stay in place with rubber bands around the sole of the shoe and metal hooks that hook into the shoe laces. The velcro keeps them nicely wrapped and some elastic bands add to the individual fit even further. Once "fitted", putting them on and taking them off takes seconds, literally!Highly recommended!

Add makes them sound as though they have a higher height than others. Same height.They make the bottom sound much wider than others. Same width. Very thin material.Not worth the money if tou are planning to use them more than a couple of times

I wore these when I ventured outside to remove snow from my walk and driveway and they kept the snow out. My only complaint is the strap under the arch could be relocated a half inch forward but then I was wearing a rather large pair of boots.

Works well. But the Velcro at the bottom seemed to not work/stand up to the snow well. But with walking the dogs 3-5 times a day, it did OK. And I liked that I didn't have to come home and change into dry britches every time. I also had issue with keeping them buckled, but soon tried to buckle them 'inside out'. AND it worked great.

Used about 10 times. The straps that you loop under your footwear just frays and eventually breaks. If you're lazy and don't walk much these will last you longer.

I have been using these for a couple of weeks and they work well. My only issue - and it's minor - is that I wear black jeans which are sort of bulky and I have to work a little to get then around my lower legs - mostly around my pants. Once on, however, they do an excellent job.

They worked great during a 3 day pheasant hunt in South Dakota. They didn’t slide down my legs, stayed right where they were supposed to and kept my boots/socks dry.they are light weight and stored easily.
