The screw-in refill is 4.75 inches including black applicator tip through ball-point at end...

The answer ("they are basically all the same") doesn't make sense for this particular refill because it is number 8100. Look at the packaging. I need Cross ballpoint 8513 as well. I cannot find it on Amazon. Looking elsewhere. Don't want some fake substitute.

There is a Cross gel ink refill, but it will not fit into a ballpoint. You would need a rollerball type Cross pen for it to fit.
