I find this very effective and easy to use.

These work nicely if you just need a little bit of help drifting off. Although they don't last all night like non-herbals. I'm a terrible sleeper and don't want the hard stuff - well not regularly anyway; and these definitely help a bit. Useless for severe insomnia though.

I sometimes struggle to fall asleep or stay asleep through the night and was looking for a natural, herbal sleeping aid as I much prefer to avoid chemical drugs. The Nytol Herbal tablets contain extracts of Valerian, Passion Flower and Hop Strobile, all known for their calming properties. Dosage: 2 tablets, to be taken 1 hour before you go to bed. The tablets are small and easy to swallow. They smell of the typical Valerian smell (not very nice, very earthy) but don't really have a taste. It is hard to say whether they help or not to be honest, I would say generally that, due to the natural ingredients, there is no harm or side effects taking them at least, you don't feel drowsy in the mornings; They may help you to relax and calm your mind, but they don't do miracles, not sure they do more than a placebo effect. Like all natural remedies, the intensity of their effect will depend on your own body's sensitivity to those plants.
