I’ve used plenty of Shelly devices in the past, and was eagerly awaiting the launch of the 4Pro. Although the screw terminals could be slightly higher quality, there’s nothing wrong with them and they function well. The device is plastic construction and appears well made. Once in the consumer unit, the display looks great and the buttons operate as expected. Pay attention to the wiring guide first, though, as the Shelly doesn’t ‘common’ any of the feeds: each channel effectively requires a dedicated L and N feed (no PE).

I use a lot of Shelly devices and this Shelly Pro 4PM relay module is just what I needed. I am using two of them together with Home Assistant to control 8 UFH zone actuators for the heating at home. I wanted Ethernet because wi-fi would not be rliable where they are located. My only negative comment would be that I am using them inside a small consumer unit and the depth of the modules is insufficient for the display to protrude through the slot in the way MCBs do. Functionally the modules are great!

Faulty out of box! Screw for for output terminal has been installed upside down . Clearly no quality control

Nice for use with a little consumer unit on the side that’s already protected by its own RCD. Sort of plasticky, and the back comes off very easily. Probably a better solution than having small Shellys mounted inside a CU, but not a groundbreaking product.

Great product, we have four in our control cabinet and use it to get a good understanding how much electricity we are using and where in much more detail than before. Which is nice because it help us reduce a significant amount and gave us good insights how many battery power (off grid home) we need to become fully self sufficient. + trustworthy and very detailed + doesn’t require cloud + easy to install for home assistance

Semplicemente fantastico articolo, l'unica pecca è che bisogna stare attenti ai carichi, nel mio caso utilizzando carichi induttivi necessita del filtro che commercializza sempre shelly, altrimenti non funziona correttamente e delle volte va in crash e bisogna resettarlo
