What is the difference between this and any other moisturizer?

Hi Sherry,Thanks for your question!CPAP Chap was customized specifically for Oxygen Therapy and CPAP users without the use of any petroleum products, which can be found in many common moisturizers and skin products.With anyone being treated with higher concentrations of oxygen, (this can be both oxygen therapy or some CPAP users even), the petroleum products mixed with increased O2 can lead to increased flammability. For the seller: please answer definitively if this is safe to use inside the nostrils?

The best thing to use inside your nostrils is a product called Ayr gel. I have been using it for years to relieve the dryness in my nose. It also comes in a saline mist nose spray. The gel works best for me. and you can find it at Wal-Mart and most drug stores. Safe to use.

Does anyone use this with and under the liners for the mask?

I use it when I get chaped and sore from my mask gasket it works great really does help so much

Is this intended to be used at same time as cpap or the next day as skin moisturizer?

Either one. I used it on my nose pillows when my nose got sore. Next day, my nose was normal again.
