Q: How do you connect these to a 3.5 mm headphone jack on airplanes?

One of the key offerings we are trying to deliver is a battery-less experience - just like analog - with all of the amazing smart features, such as noise cancellation, Autopause, Hey Siri, SmartMute and more! Q: Can they work with iPhone 5

if you can down load the app i believe it should work

Q: Has anyone had issues with plugging it in to the computer and the sound not switching over to the headphones?

This was on my 2017, 15-inch MacBook Pro, running Ventura 13.5, using Pioneer Rayz Pro Wired Earphones plugged vIa a USB-C port on the MacBook Pro. After I plugged in the RayZ; 1. I had to open the System Settings; 2. Select, Sound; 3. Scroll to Output & Input, select, Output; 4. Scroll down to find the “Name” of the headphones, in this case, “Rayz USB audio”, listing the source “Type” as “USB”; and 5. Scroll down to Output Volume to assure the sound is not muted and loud enough to hear.

Q: Does the usb c adapter also include usb c charge through? if so what, up to how many watts?

This is a great question! :-) While the Rayz Pro USB-C adapter does not currently offer the awesome charge-thru feature, we do offer this great feature with the lightning adapter.
