They hold stiff just fine

They're great envelopes. High quality and my gosh the sticky adhesive is no joke! Make sure you've got everything in there before closing it up or you'll be using a new one. Highly recommend! Will buy again.

I bought these envelopes because I was sick of buying the flimsy junk from the big-box stores. I've had several envelopes returned to me from the postal authorities that were damaged - torn in half - during postal processing, usually because the flimsy envelopes buckled, bent, and eventually tore during shipping. Not so with these envelopes. They're quite sturdy and of much better quality than the former envelopes I once used. I'll be using these from now on; tossing into the trash the former #10's.

We have recently made a change to our office invoices and I have grown tired of having to perform a special fold to insert them into the #9 envelopes. However, I was uncertain if #10 was the appropriate fit, so I decided to only place an order for a limited number. This was the perfect amount without breaking the bank and when I got them, they were excellent quality!

I like the envelopes. They are sufficiently heavy and thick for my purposes.However, the packaging was damaged. None of the envelopes were damaged otherwise I would have returned this order. That delivery was in a soft, thin, Amazon envelope. In my opinion, a proper carton would have minimized this damage. However, I believe that the product packaging was also not in good shape before it was shipped. If I had seen this product packaging in a store, I likely would not have purchased this product.

Good quality envelopes .

I thought these would be 28 lb paper for $40, sent them back.Bought 24 lb from Amazon also for $12 that are actually better.
