Great quality and weight. Good size for gift card or scratch lottery ticket. Can fit dollar bill folded once in half. No adhesive back, just lip/tab to keep envelope closed.

Beautiful but Poor Quality Control
The envelopes were very beautiful made from thick paper but not all of them well made. About four of them were glued at 3/4 from the bottom of the inside which made it impossible to insert a full unfolded bill inside. I tried using a ruler to unstick the glue and paper but it was so sealed that the ruler broke through the paper and made the envelopes unusable. Too bad because those red envelopes had perfect Chinese New Year sayings.

I didn't realize how large these were going to be. They are the size of an envelope.
