Dove Beauty Bar Soap Restoring Coconut & Cocoa Butter 6 Count 3.75 oz

I am extremely impressed by this coconut & cocoa butter version. No company makes a hydrating bar soap as good as Dove. As a man, I hate the regular dove for men bars - they stink (literally) - and the regular women’s dove bar has an extremely feminine fragrance that lingers. Great for the ladies, not so much for a man. I bought this as a gamble to try, being that cocoa butter has a pretty dominating, gender neutral fragrance. I can report back this stuff is AMAZING! I’d say it honestly smells about 10% like a regular dove bar, but 90% like coconut-cocoa butter. It’s nice. This scent option is 100x more moisturizing than any dove bar I’ve ever used. It’s also the color of cocoa or shea butter, kind of yellowish-beige, which I was not expecting. It works so well. The lather is incredible!!!! I would have no reservations about washing my face with this. Regular dove bars feel stripping yet leave a film, and ultimately don’t feel like they actually cleanse well. This version of the other hand DEEPLY cleans, doesn’t strip at all, and leaves a really nice gender neutral scent that smells like clean skin, practically undetectable. This is perfect for someone with sensitive skin who wants hydration and efficacy! I’m pleasantly surprised by this product and am very happy I got the 6 pack. This is a 10/10! Great value, fresh product! Highly recommended.

This Dove Beauty Bar in Cocoa Butter & Coconut is amazing! It’s a great value for money because the bars are a good size and last a long time. It lathers up really well, leaving my skin feeling clean, soft, and deeply moisturized without drying it out. The scent is fresh, warm, and pleasant without being too strong. It’s very effective for everyday use and leaves my skin feeling smooth and refreshed. Definitely a 5-star staple in my routine!

I’ve been a Dove bar soap user for decades. I love them all, even the antibacterial soap. But this cocoa butter has to be my favorite. My 72 year old skin really appreciates the softening quality, the scent, and this soap leaves no film. One more thing: I forgot my shampoo in my shower, and I didn’t feel like jumping out to get it. So, I used this bar soap on my dry thin gray hair. It washed my hair beautifully! None of that usual soap residue, and I didn’t have to use conditioner! Unexpected bonus! I highly recommend the cocoa butter Dove bar soap.

Smells so good. But, I have bought dove antiperspirant and soaps that was my favorite scents and doesn't smell like it use to. I looked it up and read that some scents have changed because of changing the formula. I'm not happy about it at all. And, it always smells more powdery and too much of a flower smell when they changed the formula. It can say it lemongrass and grapefruit scent and will smell like flowers. Dove please stop changing the formulas. I'm giving 5 stars for this soap because I really love this scent. Please don't change the formula on the cocoa butter.

I’ve been using the Dove Restoring Coconut & Cocoa Butter bars for about two weeks now, and the difference in skin texture is noticeable. Unlike traditional soaps that leave my skin feeling "squeaky" and stripped of oils, this beauty bar feels more like a solid moisturizing cream. Scent: The coconut and cocoa butter blend is warm and comforting. It’s definitely present while showering, but it doesn't linger so heavily that it clashes with my perfume afterward. Lather: It produces a rich, creamy lather rather than big soapy bubbles. It feels very luxurious on a washcloth or loofah. Results: I have notoriously dry elbows and knees, and I’ve found I don’t need as much lotion immediately after the shower when using this. Pro-tip: Because these bars have such high oil content, they can get soft if they sit in a puddle of water. Use a draining soap dish to make the bar last longer!
