I was very skeptical about this purchase. This is the first time ive dobe an LED convert without changing the housing. These bulbs are very bright. I used these in place of my P21 Regular buob on my motorcycle. The difference has been remarkable. I can't speak for longevity as I've only had it in for about a week now. The package comes with two bulbs. I suppose eventually if I remeber to update this, I will once the bulb finally dies.

TL;DR: The install was easy once the taillight was off. Bulbs fit tight, light up instantly, and stay consistent. No flicker, no codes, just solid brightness for a fair price. Getting these installed was simple once I got past the annoying part, removing the tail light housing on my Elantra. Once that was off, the bulbs clicked right in without any struggle. It was a clean fit. I’d rate them a solid 5 out of 5 compared to my stock bulbs (why cause my stock bulbes blew 😂😂😞). No flickering, no warnings, no weird behavior, they just work. They’ve stayed consistent since I installed them, it feels like solid value. I didn’t have to deal with any cheap-feeling parts, and the overall setup gave me confidence they’ll hold up. If you’re swapping out old halogens, this set makes the upgrade feel worth it. Bright response, easy install, and zero hassle once they’re in. These work exactly like an led 1157 should work for a brake light. Installed in our 2016 Kia Sedona and there's two distinct brightness levels. No errors on the dash, no errors on the scan tool either.

These are great bulbs to replace halogen to led, especially on the brake lights or running lights. The ease of installation and quality of the bulb made a world of difference. They are so much brighter and provide more safety on the road. There is only one draw back that I would caution you on. If you are replacing your turn signal bulbs with these, be prepared for the need to install load resistors with them as these do cause hyper flashing. This is an issue when upgrading from halogen to led, so it is not the bulbs fault. Electrical systems in older vehicles are programmed for halogen bulbs. In order recognize when that bulb is pulling less energy, or burned out, the signal will hyper flash or blink quickly to alert the driver of a burnt out bulb. Since these are led bulbs and therefore pull much less energy than their halogen counterpart, the electrical system still believes you still have a burnt out bulb and therefore continues to hyper flashe. The only way around this is to install load resistors or a module (if your vehicle takes a module) or to buy special led bulbs that do not require load resistors. Those are much more expensive though. Full disclosure, for my turn signal bulbs I went with another, more expensive, bulb that fixes the hyper flashing issue just to save me the time and hassle of installation of the load resistors. I do recommend these bulbs just be aware of what you will need.

UPDATE: 9/1/2022 - since I had these in my 2016 Iron 883 and they worked with no problems, I decided to give them one more shot after them not working in my 2020 Harley Softail. I tried them in a 2022 Sportster, Harley has not made any changes to the bike since the 2016 I had. The signals themselves work fine, but the indicators hyper flash. Sets BCM codes for open circuit or voltage high on all 4 lights. I went through every combination of hazard flashes, turn signal flashed, ignition on/off know to man and still does the same thing. Took it to the dealer and the BCM was already set for LEDs, obviously the hazard tricks worked to set the BCM but these lights still hyper flash the indicators and set fault codes. Turns out, the fault codes set in the BCM as soon as the ignition is turned on, without even turning on a signal. Upon more diagnostics, there is a solid .5 to .8 volts feeding back through on the turn signal wire when the park lights are on. I pulled the pins out of the parking lights on the connectors and BINGO, they work fine with no hyper flash and no fault codes. These bulbs are just junk. Not sure what changed in the last few years as when I ordered them in 2017 for my 2016 bike, they worked. However, I have not gotten them to work on the 2020 softail or the 2022 sportster, in both cases I was seeing the voltage feedback. This time, I went the extra step to disable the parking lights to make absolute sure the voltage feedback was causing the problem and sure enough that is it. A junk product. If you are not bothered by the hyperflashing on the dash, or if you have an older vehicle, I am sure they will be fine for you. I have learned my lesson on this product and know to not try them anymore. These bulbs kept causing fault codes in the computers and flickered. I tried every method known to get the computer to recognize the LED bulbs to no avail. Purchased a different brand locally, more expensive, but the learn procedure for the computer worked immediately and the other bulbs work perfectly. The 1157 version of this bulb had about a half volt feedback on the turn signal circuit when the park lights are on, possible cause? Other brand that works did not show a feedback voltage. Not sure why these 1156 bulbs didn’t work, but the other brand works so just going to return these and keep the ones that work.

i dont know how this item is getting so many good reviews but, this product is very dim when i installed them. right side flashes fine but the other doesnt
