Great gadget for a GoPro type camera. Floats! 12 year old loved using it in Maui. Caught turtles next to him because he had the camera on the stick while snorkeling, so he’s in the video. Camera floated with the stick!

Just did 23 dives in Bonaire, using this on every dive. It worked perfectly, let me get into the water with it compacted and then stretch it out underwater for better access. No issues at all and it let me get that extra close perspective that isn’t possible with shorter go pro sticks. Only issue was the screw which broke immediately, but we all have half a dozen go pro screws laying around, so I changed it and it worked so well. 100% satisfied.

UPDATE: I just wanted to change my review because the company actually reached out to me about not receiving the product. They were able to send me a new one which I was really appreciative of their concern. We took it to a pool party and it worked great. I was surprised that even with it extended it floated. I think my 2 issues I really had was when collapsed it floated but it wasn't that high above the water and visibility was tough with a white handle. Luckily we were in a pool but if I were to loose it in any type of wave I don't think I'd be able to retrieve it. My other issue was when the pole is extended it takes on a lot of water but it actually floats higher than when colapsed. We will definitely use it but like I mentioned before I just wish the handle had a little more buoyancy and was a brighter color for visibility. Kudos to the customer service!I really wish I could review this item. We ordered this for our trip and unfortunately the package never made it to our house. It looks like a great product and I've read other reviews rating this high but we weren't as lucky.

Update: 29 Oct 18 - MicroJib reached out to me and provided excellent customer service by providing a replacement unit and a full refund of my original purchase. This doesn’t change the fact that the original product proved useless during a well planned diving trip, but I’m giving MicroJib 3 stars for making this right for me. I appreciate a small company who stands behind their product. Thanks MicroJib.Zero Stars - A considerable amount of review reading was undertaken to select a water grip for my action cam. The reviews for the MicroJib were impressive and I felt confident making this purchase for a diving trip to Cozumel. So you can imagine my horror when on the first day of my trip, on my first dive I positioned the MicroJib to get some selfie footage only to see that my cam was gone and with it the top extension rod & mounting bracket of the MicroJib. I was thankfully able to backtrack and find my cam in 20 feet of water but the Microjib was unusable for the rest of my 7 day trip. The smallest rod was just completely loose and would not snap back into its track regardless of my efforts to troubleshoot. To add insult to injury, I returned from my trip exactly 1 day after the Amazon Return window closed. I contacted Amazon CS via chat to request a return exemption only to be frustrated with stupid questions about my troubleshooting efforts with a product that was clearly defective in either its design or manufacture and to be suddenly disconnected just as it seemed the Rep was about to offer a solution. At this point I just want to return the MicroJib as I couldn’t trust a replacement for another ruined dive trip.

Worked great for my snorkeling shots, with a Nikon W300 on a Go Pro mount adaptor.I love that it has some initial buoyancy, but I kept a floating strap on the Nikon as well, because I couldn't trust this to maintain buoyancy if the tubing became waterlogged, and since I had a mounting adaptor instead of a true Go Pro, I didn't trust my camera to stay tight on the mount.Main drawback is it fills with water during use, which can sometimes be salt water and have sand too, so it's important to rinse in fresh water after and kind of pump the extension arm to drain out all the water, so it doesn't get crusty and freeze up on you.

Plastic handle that tightens the screw that attaches the MicroJib Flow to the GoPro broke after first use.Company appears to be out of business - Customer Service phone number on their website doesn't connect, and you cannot submit the Customer Service form on their website either.Oh well.

When I open the package, I thought this was a very cool selfie stick for the GoPro. It’s seem to me like they got everything right! First time that we used it, it broke. Fortunately, Amazon gave me the credit for the purchase price right away. Right now I’m going to have to give it one star. I will review this after I receive my new replacement. Thank you Amazon for giving me a credit for the broken one. Got the replacement, I really like, I haven’t had a chance to test it, but I think what I will do is keep it away from the kids. I don’t think that this would be sturdy enough to handle my children.

Has been my right hand as I and my wife explored waterfalls, beautiful pools, and hours of salt water snorkeling. Just added a video. Original review:Just what I wanted… A well-made floating grip that also extends. I wondered if it would still float when I added my very heavy "Shoot" flash + Akaso Brave action cam. It does. Easily. The material quality is really good. Handle grip is comfy. I love manufacturers that are trying to build the best design, rather than the cheapest crap. Good job microJib. If I don't update this review, it means it keeps surpassing my expectations. If it disappoints in any way I will update. I'm about to put it through some rigorous snorkeling in Hawaii.
