Place the candle on a flat surface and open the cover. 2. Cut the wick to approximately 6mm before lighting the candle to keep soot to a minimum.3. When lighting the candle first time, keep it lit for at least 2 hours to prevent tunneling (when only the center area around the wick melts) 4.
