Stevens 320 12ga Stock Bolt w/Washers

Worked for my maverick 88 for a stock replacement

So, this bolt WILL work on a Mossberg 500 stock, BUT...you have to grind a slot in the head so you can tighten it with a screwdriver. The bolt is the correct length when used with a flat and lock washer, but as you will quickly discover; the hole in the Mossberg 500 stock is too small to fit an appropriately sized socket over the head of the bolt (hence the need to slot the head so you can tighten with a very long screwdriver). Note: For some reason, most Mossberg nylon stocks don't come with this bolt, so if you're changing out a pistol grip to a regular long stock you'll need this bolt. 1/4" bolts aren't hard to find in general, but 1/4" bolts which are this long are almost impossible to find, and Mossberg seems to be never in stock. Awful expensive though for a single bolt. Took off two stars for the cost only (not for the need to slot the head, no deduction for that)

This item was a perfect fit for a mossberg 88 stock.

I used this on my Maverick 88 to install a stock on it.
