Microscope Slide Accessory Kit - Standard Set, Including Methylene Blue & Eosin Y Stains

This is a nice set. I got a microscope for Christmas but needed "stuff" to make the most of it. I havent used a microscope in years and years- and even then to prepare a slide or specimen I followed the directions and used the supplies in the classroom or lab that I was working in- so I am definitely a beginner. I didn't know where to start, what I might need, or how to make slides or samples etc. This kit came with everything I needed to get started, including instructions for how to prepare slides, how to use the stains and a few nice beginner projects. It's kind of hard to find microscopy information for beginners that isn't geared towards kids. I am an intelligent adult and didn't feel like the instructions and projects in the booklet were overly simple, or overly simplified, to be interesting and educational.

Everything is great and the booklet included is super informative. Glad this came a few days ahead of my actual microscope to give me time to actually read through it. My only complaint is that the slip glasses were poorly packaged and many of them were broken (see photo). Only ten are in usable condition. Strange oversight when everything else was handled so nicely. Other than that it would be nice if the lids to the specimen trays fit a little tighter, but that's not really a big deal.

WOW! This kit is the best quality. It includes a very decent pair of scissors and tweezers plus a barbed fine to pick that I have been looking for. A free gift of a microtome to slice a speciem and all the rest as described.I am very impressed with the color Guide for prepping slides, it is 26 pages of great info and a small brochure of other stains and products.I could go on and on.... They did not skimp on this product. Very pleased.

These folks are great! Not only was everything as described but the instruction manual was superior. Other suppliers don't even include one. They also included a surprise. I got a microtome and a calendar I wasn't expecting. I highly recommend them.

I bought this on a whim to go with our new microscope, and it’s awesome! I love how nicely organized the kit is, and I love, love, love the microtome surprise!!! Great for homeschoolers.

This science kit is amazing! It was packed extremely well. Nothing was broken. The solutions did not leak anywhere. The quality of the kit impressed me. I would surely recommend this company to anyone looking for quality products at an affordable price!

Far more comprehensive than all the other sets I saw. My pre-teen, who is insatiable when it comes to science, absolutely loves the set.

the slide kit is fine, but i am having a problem getting my omax microscope to connect to my computer. i can`t find help with "that problem" anywhere. i contacted omax and they insisted on an order number, which i don`t have and getting that from amazon seems an impossibility. i paid extra money for the mp18 camera but can`t get it to work!!!any suggestions will be gratefully recieved and appreciated!thanks in advance, richard.
