A much bighter white
I installed these on a 2011 BMW R1200GS - before were the factory BMW bulbs. When my dash display told me I had (LampF!) fault, I saw in my garage the low beam headlight bulb was out. I decided to upgrade and get some brighter ones, and since they are the same bulb. I purchased a 2 pack and swapped out both lights while I was at it.Not having taken it out on a night ride yet, I can already tell they are much brighter than the originals. *Excuse the color of the light on the garage door, they are not pink lights...the insulation on the garage door is pink.* You see the little blue park light underneath, I purchased that also as I noticed my park light was out for quite some time. That is one is an LED light by Combriller.I know most people are upgrading their headlights to LED, but I wasn't a fan of stuffing more junk into the headlight casing when you need cooling fans and extra wires for the upgrade. I don't have a ton of stuff to draw voltage away from the charging system, so there's no need for me to install amp-saving lights. These are easy to get to, and cost savings to change them every 5 years is no big deal.

Brighter then stock
These are direct plug and play fit for H7 headlights. They function better than stock. They are brighter than stock. These are just as fragile as standard bulbs. Handle by the base only. Don’t touch the glass or the natural oils in your skin cause hot spots and they burn out. Don’t let the bulbs touch anything on installation, the contamination will cause them to burn out. If there is moisture inside of your headlight housing, they will burn out. If you mishandle the bulbs, clean the glass with alcohol before installing. Proper installation into sealed headlight housings should provide years of illumination. In my case, the extra illumination helped overcome the lens oxidation (cloudy headlights) I haven’t been able to address.

Decent bulb for the price!
Bought this to replace a headlight bulb that went out on my 2009 bmw 528i. Didn’t need to take out the headlight to replace it and was able to pop the cover off and reach my hand to twist the bulb. Fairly easy to replace just twist and plug back in. The light is bright but it’s definitely not white. I’d say it’s a little cooler than the standard orange headlight color. We’ll see how long it lasts. But overall I would recommend

Blindingly bright if looked directly into
The media could not be loaded. Hard to explain, these are blinding bright but feels like they offer nothing when city driving. I wasn’t even sure I had them on when I first put them in and went to work later that night. This is the first time I ever changed a headlight and on a promaster no less. Worried they might’ve popped out or broke I pulled over only to realize they were indeed working and on.That said when I’m the only car driving in a dark road they do the job but I still use my “fours”, daylight running lights to compensate as well. Might just need to give my headlights a cleaning for the full effect.

Do NOT Last long at all
I thought the brand name and reputation on Philipps would make these a great buy. I’ve used these bulbs for my 2014 BMW 328D for the past year and had to replace them twice. The first set lasted 6 months and this last set barely lasted 4 months. Not making this mistake again. Very poor quality bulb!!!! Save your time/money and go with another brand.

They're yellow
They get too hot and they put off a yellow beam. I was looking for something lighter in color that doesn't cook my outlet. Maybe these just aren't for a Hyundai Sonata?
