Solidly built and great fun to ride. Almost (not quite) perfect. Great value.
For the money this is a great trike and lived up to expectations.Assembly: Diagrams in the instructions were acceptable and the manual is in good English. So, easy enough to assemble although I was so excited that I first put the rear axle on upside-down, then forgot to put the "fillers" in the seat (the bolts are recessed and they give you four golden things to thread in). It took my about an hour where it probably should have taken 30 minutes. Be sure to have a set of Allen wrenches at hand. Also I never really understood bike brakes until I tried to set these up, but the instructions are good enough.Riding & Drifting: We have an 800 ft driveway with a downhill slope which was recently all asphalted and is really smooth, with a 90 degree left about 3/4 of the way down. The drifting is smooth and fun; about a quarter of the time I lose control and end up going backwards or off into the rough but no injuries yet. I wear a helmet but no other pads and I don't think I need it as this trike is very stable with such a low centre of gravity.I currently have a problem with the wheels vibrating even at moderate speed; it seems as if the wheels are flexing around the six "spokes". So it is as if the wheels are not perfectly round but are slightly hexagonal due to the plastic not being as hard as it could be. Coupled with the lack of suspension this makes for a jarring ride and maybe that's why some people in video reviews have a cushion in the seat; I'm still experimenting with this. This wheel vibration doesn't warrant cutting a star. It might be fixed by wrapping the wheels in another PVC pipe or similar. Also note: The pedals are more useful for controlling drifts than for actually getting back up any hills. Pedaling this trike is insanely difficult up a long hill; you have so little traction on the front wheels, and there are no gears of course. The easiest way to get back up the hill under your own power is to tip the trike onto the rear wheels and walk with it in front of you, as you'll see in the videos.I ride with the seat at the maximum rear setting and my legs are not quite extended when I pedal. Our 7 yr old can ride this trike with the seat in the front-most position but prefers his own drift trike - luckily for me!(Review by Jennifer G's husband, 5'10" and 190 lbs).

awesome looking drift trike that can handle a large adult.
This trike is a ton of fun. So far pretty rigid too, three different 250+lbs riders tried it without a problem. The design is very slick. They made the rear wheels easily replaceable. I would like to try some of triad's other wheel styles. I had three problems with this trike that The packaging was torn from FedEx during delivery. One of the wheel bearings came out of the wheel and was lost during shipping. (Triad ziptie your bearings inside the wheels to prevent this! I was able to find a same sized one on amazon. Amazon refunded me the cost of the bearing. Also the tire was deflated when I opened the box. When I went to air it up, I found a large hole in the tube. It was on the rib of the tube so it was hard to patch. I finally got it patched. All three of us who rode it when we turned hard in a drift the leg on the inside of the drift will get hit by the tire. All of us have burns on our calfs. (could just be us not riding it right) With all this considered, I would say this is a strong 4 stars.

Cool Trike, Poor Quality.
I purchased two of these, one for my 12 year old son and my 18 old son because they both loved the Razor 360 so much. Initially, they were great and both boys loved them, but after only a few months of use they both started having issues and falling apart. The bolt that holds the pedals on would not stay in and the pedal kept falling off. After the 3rd time of putting the bolt back in place and tightening the bolt, the threads were completely stripped out making the trike completely useless. I am a machinist by trade and I didn't put that much torque on it for the threads to strip out. The steel is just soft and cheap. The 2nd Trike has front bearing issues. The front wheel bearings sound like they grinding and causes the front wheel to wobble when riding it.The Razors we have are over 2 years old and still functional. These are 6 months old with only about 3 months of use and now sitting in the garage. For the price paid they are a big disappoint as far a quality goes and I would not recommend.

Hard slides & burnt rubber
its a start. It did come with a flat innertube but when you buy a trike like this the parts are going to be on the same line mostly of bmx tire parts, breaks, handlebars stem. I have already put a red led on the back and a nice light for the front on it. I wear a helmet and venture through my city any time and this thing is a blast. I have found a wrist mirror that works well and does not look so clumsy as in adding a mirror to it. The rear plastics have lasted me an entire summer of playing on it and part way through this winter. I do need new slicks and a front tire which is around 80-100 seperatly being as a pair of the rear slicks are about 40 each but thats ok! you can not put a price on the fun you can have on this thing! You can buy different parts for this and do some customizing. They do make other brands a little more wieght advantage as I am not sure how a 300 pound man or woman would get down on this but the seat is adjustable. www.flatoutdrifttrikes.com you can buy parts for the Triad and they sell ones that are a little different check them out. You can cruise it, saving on your plastics and scoping for those sweet slide moments. And very often when your working those slides you will definitely smell burnt rubber! Another added bonus. I love mine, almost sold it but im just going to keep it and customize it. I did let a friend ride it and out of the all the times I have rode this thing he was the only one to flip it. We were drinking. Get your own start off at your own pace. literally anyone with some free time and some extra $ could really get lose on one of these
