Hair Trimmer for Men

This works really well, cuts hair as short as short, in an instant! Much better than the rotary Babyliss one I have, which can tend to pull nose hair out, ouch! - also much better than the redesigned Philips one I have (which they "improved" by modifying their earlier excellent version and making it worse!). Am confident I've cracked it this time! I've docked one star in the 'Comfort' section, but, in all probability, this is a matter of my needing to get used to the sharp little beastie, and not a fault with the gadget. I used it in my schnozzle and found it felt alarmingly sharp against the skin, which made the latter a little 'raw'. as though it had had sandpaper rubbed on it - but this was only temporary, and, as I type, any rawness is now long gone. It was disconcerting at first, as it seemed for all the world as though it was going to carve my nose to shreds in little pieces! However, I decided to become a man and stop being a wimp, and plodded on. All was fine. This JML trimmer is the best I've used, and yes, it is more expensive than other brands and models, but so what? This is QUALITY, made from what must be superior materials. CHEAP isn't everything, all you Scroogie skinflints out there! Oh, I should mention I also used the eyebrow trimmer, and found it excellent. I like especially that the comb teeth on this attachment are very finely-spaced, so no hairs can escape the trimming. Other models I've used always have had combs with too-wide spacing, leaving some hairs uncut and still long, therefore needing manual scissor-treatment. Well done, JML, you have easily beaten the competition! All hail your thoughtful Designers!

The amount of nose hair trimmers I’ve brought in the past that just don’t work is ridiculous, this one actually does what it says. How long it will last is another matter, it feels quite cheap but fingers crossed!

The first time I used this it cut the inside of my nose. Been using this type of nose trimmer for years, first time this has happened. It does not cut as close as my old (discontinued) Phillips. It’s also very hard to gauge if it’s doing anything as seems to be almost silent. Bought another brand.

Excellent product. 2nd time I have bought it. My first died after 5 of 6 years. And it was excellent until it wouldn't switch on with new batteries. Would recommend. Great for all sorts of detailing

I was quite happy with this trimmer (used for ear and nose hair trimming and eyebrows with the attachment). However the trimmer stopped working : the light comes on but the blades / motor mechanism no longer operates. Poor as this was only after 4 months and used about 10-15 times for short periods. Don't get sucked in by the german made nonsense in the description / other reviews. There has been a few reviews of this happening to others so this trimmer appears to be poorly manufactured. As this is now past the return window and a longer guarantee isn't supplied, this purchase was a complete waste of money!

Not quite as good as old Phillips model I replaced, but cuts well and easy to use. Main gripe is that the cutting head is quite sharp, so not comfortable to use.
