Cleure Fragrance Free Shampoo, Hypoallergenic Shampoo for Scalp (12oz)

After trying to figure out why my head was itching so much, and trying 3 different medications from my doctor, finally figured out it was my shampoo that I have been using for years that is the culprit. I Googled all the ingredients and found that almost all the ingredients can cause allergy! I found this one, and it is a miracle! I am a ne woman without an itchy head. It lathers up nicely, rinses easily, has no smell, and leaves my hair feeling nice.

Using this shampoo, my head no longer itches. Be sure hair is real wet to get a good lather. Bottle is a little hard to squeeze but hey, I am old, maybe weak!!

Luxurious suds; a solid replacement for my beloved Paula's Choice shampoo that they discontinued. Leaves my hair a little more tangled, but easy fix with conditioner. Zero scent...not even ingredient smells.

Scent free and foams up nicely with just a nickel-size amount on short hair.

This product is very kind to your hair while producing fullness. Doen't have harsh chemicals like other shampoos.

Love this fragrance free shampoo. I have a fragrance allergy, along with a few other allergies and this shampoo is the best I’ve found, actually leaves my hair feeling clean, when others make me feel greasy even immediately after wash. Also doesn’t cause any dry scalp/irritation I always double wash/rinse Suds nice

I wish I could say I'm surprised, but Cleure has changed ingredients on me before. Which is LAUGHABLE for a brand that's supposed to be hypoallergenic. Think of your customers instead of your profit margins, Cleure!!! I started using a new bottle this week and I thought it smelled like peppermint toothpaste. Looked on the back and saw Behentrimonium Methosulfate on the ingredient list. I'm not sure if this ingredient accounts for the smell, but it was overpowering (burned my lungs, eyes, and skin.) I also had to stop using their face moisturizer because they added sodium hyaluronate that was derived from corn. Not very hypoallergenic considering corn is becoming a more common allergen in the US.

Pros: It doesn't make me itch like all the other shampoos with fragrances and other allergens. That's where it ends. Cons: So drying!! Even with a thick conditioner this shampoo just makes my hair very dry. I prefer the one from Vanicream. Suggestion for those with multiple skin allergies who are using hypoallergenic hair products - pair the shampoo with the Ordinary's conditioner (benza.... something or other... it will come up in a search!). Giving it 3 stars for the fact that it doesn't make me itch and it does clean.
