Original Skin-Soothing Cream for Dry Itchy Skin (4 Oz)

So sorry this might be a long one... My daughter has been fighting eczema since she was about 10 months old. I've been through about everything you can buy in stores. The best one I've tried was the Aveeno eczema repair cream in the tube. Everything turned after bath time into a horrible meltdown. Some things sting, somethings made her skin feel tight and some made her scratch more. I had been bathing her in oatmeal and honey 1-2 times a day then struggling through putting the Aveeno on her (the one that was the least unpleasant out of everything) and that was just barely keeping it from getting worse but as she'd start drying she was right back to vigorously digging at different areas of her body even if I put her in a thick footed sleeper. I got this cream 2 days ago and I put it on immediately to try it. I didn't see a huge difference in her skin obviously but after a few minutes she wasn't fighting to get away from me. That night I ran out of time before bed for a bath but she had no problem letting me put this on her. Fast forward to yesterday night. I again didn't have time for a full soak in oatmeal but she got in the shower with me. Afterward I rubbed her down in this stuff and then got her ready for bed. While I was putting her to bed she started scratching her foot. She asked me to put some on it so I did and I realized her skin was drinking it up so fast. I put more on. I put cream on it until it stopped eating it. By the time I had it rubbed in she was asleep. She slept the whole night. Didn't wake up at all. There wasn't a pile of skin on the sheets either. When we got up this morning she was itching but she ASKED for more of this. In two days her skin is no longer red unless she just scratched a spot and it's healing beautifully. Before nap time today she asked for more and she fell asleep getting a foot and leg rub with the lotion. I'm sad it's expensive but it's worth everything with this type of turn around. The cream is very sticky. I absolutely hate the feeling before it's absorbed but that's a very small con.

I received this as a gift - it has helped me tremendously. Since using it, I no longer have cracked bleeding skin. I have year round eczema that gets worse in the winter, so my skin is super dry and cracks easily.This product is loose and oily, and has a slightly weird smell (not super strong). After you put it on, it's sticky until it soaks in. But all of that is SO WORTH IT! If you can deal with the grease/sticky feeling for 10 minutes, its worth every penny. It stops the itch immediately! I just dip the tip of my finger in and spread it across my knuckles/fingers. A little goes a long way.In my opinion, it's worth the money. The jars aren't filled to the brim because the oils separate. So I give it a good shake before applying and its perfect!

I have dyshydrotic eczema and have used prescription steroids as well as a whole host of OTC products, some of which made it worse (looking at you, Gold Bond). This is the first product that actually reduced inflammation and helped me to heal faster. It doesn't prevent outbreaks, but the itchy, scabby, scaly, peeling skin is less of a problem when I use this. It's less greasy than I thought it would be and is absorbed almost instantly. (Unlike my Balmond's Skinsalvation, which I have to time the use of our I get oil stains on everything.) It smells a little strange, but I'm SO GLAD that it doesn't have any perfumes, which I'm often allergic to. 10/10 will buy again!

I purchased this for my brother, who has been suffering from eczema and psoriasis for over a decade, and he's never been able to find a product that works for him for longer than a few weeks. The product had already leaked and wasn't packed properly when it arrived, so the sides of the jar were extremely greasy.Absorption is great - it looks like the skin drinks it right up, if applied nominally. I can't speak to long-term effects yet, but there is an immediate reduction in redness and flakiness. Itching does not subside.

I’ve tried 20+ different products for my almost 2-year-old daughter’s skin, and this is the first one that has actually made a noticeable difference. It doesn’t completely clear her skin or make a drastic overnight difference, but it genuinely helps when so many other things haven’t. It smooths out the little bumps and calms the redness really well. I’ve already repurchased it and will continue to keep it on hand!

Dawg. I don’t ever write reviews. I was itching all day. Idk if this just me but I had them spicy hot boiling water type of showers as an alt to scratch. The meanest flare up started kicking in. Immediate relief. Like instant. Not even my prescribed steroid creams work that fast. I was skeptical cuz it’s lowkey expensive for the amount but honestly mad worth it and a lil goes a long way. Granted this just a review within the first hour of trying idk about longevity wise yet but I’ll see.

It was ok it did a little bit of the job when it came to her dry skin. But it also did not last long at all as well as it stained her clothes that she wore that were white. Did not live up to the hype.

This worked really well on my littlest one who had the more severe case of eczema. Now I’m trying it out for my other son who has more dry skin on his face during the changes of the season. I make sure to make this bottle last long as only a little goes a long way. Definitely easy to use…apply a light amount and let it absorb in!
