As marked on the spine of carabiner, the breaking strength is 24kN, around 5400lbs.If you use it as PPE (personal protective equipment) for life support, the recommended maximum working strength is 10% of MBS (maximum breaking strength), say 540lbs.If you use it as a connector for rigging or other non-life support purpose, the recommended maximum working strength if 20% of MBS (maximum breaking strength), say 1080lbs.I hope this will help.If you or your friends have any question, please feel free to contact us.
