My first device came damaged from the packaging into the unit, sadly. However, they were very quick to replace it, which was terrific service and much appreciated. It wasn’t their fault about this. It must have been handled roughly during the shipping process or something. I was glad to receive a working unit in perfect condition, thanks to the company 👏!Now let’s talk about the unit itself! It’s impressive! What’s equally impressive to the way that it works AKA its effectiveness, is the low price tag! Some of these cost hundreds of dollars, and I have tried them. This one is just as good and even better then some pricier models. I DO recommend that you buy this unit.Do make sure to wear protective eyewear, as it can be damaging to the eyes to expose them to the light of this unit during use. It’s fairly easy to use, practice makes perfect, and it is shaped like a pistol, which I feel makes it easier to hold in your hand, and overall easier to use, just in general. I like the design of this unit.No pain, no gain. Yes, it will sting in the beginning, but over time the hair gets weaker, less coarse, and the skin gets tougher. It’s totally manageable, in my personal opinion, though everybody has their own tolerances, as far as pain.. it really is worth it, and does get better over time. I prefer it to the feel of waxing, myself.I’m rating this a 4.85 rating, as it’s as close to perfect as an IPL hair removal system can get to, and at a really low price point. Rounded up to 5 stars, of course. I’m really happy that I got my replacement. They have excellent customer service, and I do appreciate that!As close to perfection that I’ve tried, thus far- especially for the economical cost. I was optimistic since all the reviews were glowing and the price point was low (but I did notice most of the reviews are from people who got the product for free, and personally I'm less critical when I don't spend my own money.) I have very fair skin and the hair I wanted to remove was light brown. After 4 uses there was no observable change. I'm not sure if I got a defective product or if it simply does not work.

I am LITERALLY the "hairy'st" (I meant to spell that) lol woman in word. I shave one day hair is back thick and full in a week. I've used this thing twice on my legs, face, arm pits, stomach, and bikini line all with different result. My legs are already patchy growing in and doesn't grow back nearly asf fast. Will update once I get my b4 and after photos together.

I used this for four weeks (5 treatments) and didn’t see any change. Since I didn’t see changes I did a test trial with small hairs to see what level they would singe on. I tried it on level 3 and level 5 and the hairs did not burn on either level which was extremely strange since they should have been disintegrated aka “fried” on level 5, the hairs were still intact.For the record I have used the Tria laser before on a different body part with much success. In my experience in the past using IPL and laser treatments level 3 was the highest level I could endure without too much pain. With this IPL I went to level 5 for all of the treatments and not only did I not feel any burning sensation (rubber band burn) but I also never smelled that burnt hair smell which is what I got with my professional and at home treatments before. I don’t think this product is even remotely as strong as other brand IPL machines. Also it was difficult to use around the knee caps since it requires it to be flush with the skin in order to work and there is a bit of a gap even if you use the smaller head.On a side note, now that I’ve tried the product I would be leery about all these 5 star reviews from people that received the product for free and have clearly not used it for that long to truly judge its effectiveness.

The proper name for these devices is "hair reduction", not "hair removal". Years ago, I had laser hair reduction done on my legs and underarms. Since then, I occasionally used raiser to shave off a few strays that escaped laser removal process. This at home device helped me address the stray hairs. I got objective met at home without having to spend all the extra money going to the medical spa for touchups.

The media could not be loaded.  First off, read the instructions. There is a test spot that you do first. They also recommend strength setting based on your skin tone. I am a pale girl with sensitive skin so there was a definite concern that I might react. There are 2 sizes of head and choose the one that matches the area you are treating. The first treatment left my legs a little tender but not bad and my skin adjusted after the first two treatments. Follow the instructions and treatment schedule and it has slowed my hair growth and reduced the thickness as well. I used to have to shave almost every day and now it's every 2 weeks. Pic shows 2 weeks growth. Still continue using the machine and see improvements

I don't normally leave reviews but need to leave one for this because it's something I'd like to have read before I bought. I've done 4 treatments on my legs, bikini, and underarm. First three treatments at level 2. Last one at level 3. My hair is still growing at the same rate. I have seen zero noticeable reduction in growth. I'll do a few more treatments at level 3 to see if that makes a difference but so far nothing.
