super firm like they say but I feel I have to be careful because of that. They have worked well in getting off the tarter I couldn't with other regular brushes. One would have been enough because I only use it once a week for extra cleaning.If you are using them in your mouth then I would suggest being very careful about using on your gums or tongue. The bristles are very hard.

These are great for a scrubbing clean feel. My dentist doesn't agree but my mouth doesn't feel clean without using them. This is the second time I have bought them and on this batch it seems that the bristles seem to come out a little bit with lots less usage than the first batch.

I buy these toothbrushes to comb out the hair. I have quite a large doll collection and this helps me to keep everyone looking bright, bright and shiny.

The brushes work well. The bristles are firm and clean the teeth. I took one star off because the red color shown was not what I received.

I was looking for a nice harder toothbrush to scrub my teeth with, these are the exact thing I was looking for. I'm not a smoker but I find that plaque still sticks on my teeth with basic brushes. These make me feel like I'm giving them the good scrub they deserve. People say rough brushes degrade enamel but in my mind I'd rather give them a good scrub than have tartar and plaque buildup from a soft brush.

a bit too hard , you have to break these in , the construction lacks quality , I'm only applying 30% pressure to see if they can be effectively broken-in

I’m so mad these tooth brushes I bought 3 packs. These are not so call Extra hard brush, in fact these are so soft I’m so angry because I bought the 3 packs for the 12. Horrible I want my money back please!
