Fun for Playing Indoor or Outside
Another great product from Franklin Sports. Ordered this for our Little Girl to play with. In part because she loves watching Ryan's World videos. But mostly I was sold on the fact that it was made by Franklin Sports. Franklin Sports has been making quality sporting good products for over half a century. I've been buying their products for years, because everything they make is high quality. As a kid, I was addicted to playing the basketball game at the arcade, and it's pretty cool to actually have something similar in our home. What I Like About It:1. Setup takes a while (about an hour with one person), but fairly easy. Each part is identified with a number, so following the instructions is foolproof as far as knowing what goes where.2 The frame itself is very lightweight, but still sturdy. It's so easy to move around from room to room, or even outside. But durable enough that you don't have to worry about it breaking or falling apart, like most of the cheaper basketball games will. Our Daughter can easily move it herself to turn the sound/light switch on located behind the backboard.3. The backboard is bright and colorful, and attention-getting.4. It comes with a hex wrench with a Phillips head screwdriver tip, so you don't need to use any of your own tools.5. The hoops and ball return area are low enough that it's not at all challenging for toddlers to play. A kid that just turned three would be able to reach the balls and shoot them at the required height.6. It can fold upright when not in use, so it doesn't eat up valuable space or get in the way when you're done playing with it.7. Gets our Little Girl moving around even though she's indoors, instead of just laid out on the bed or sofa. Awesome option if the kids can't go outside because of weather, too dark, unsafe, etc. What I Would Change About It:1. I do like that it has audio, but it's a tad loud. I actually taped a little paper over the speaker behind the backboard, to cut the sound down just a little bit (no volume control otherwise).2. The price seems just a little steep. The cheap arcade basketball games tend to run $70 to $100. But even most of the nicer models out will set you back $160. I get that much of the price is because it's an officially licensed Ryan's World product, but I still think it would have been ideal if it didn't cost more than $170.Should You Buy the Game?If your child is a fan of Ryan's World, then get the RYAN'S WORLD one. If your child has no idea who Ryan is, then just order the "Red and Blue" Franklin Sports model on this same product page for just $149. Because the Ryan's World theme is really most of the appeal to it. Otherwise, our Little Girl and I have lots of fun with it. Especially because anything that pulls her away from her tablet or the TV for a while is always a good thing. If you like how it looks, and know a child that loves Ryan's World, go ahead and just add it to your shopping cart right now.

Cheap quality
Directions are horrible. Holes on the tubing were drilled incorrectly so item had to be returned

Nephews are having a ball with it so far. Great size for 4 & 6 year old. Sounds are great.
I am in love with this thing for keeping the kids entertained. My nephews are 4 and 6, but about to be 5 and 7 so they have a ton of pent up energy to get out. This thing is great so far. I haven't had any issues. So, first, set up wasn't all that bad. It was easy to assemble, and it folds up when it's not in use. It does let out to about 5 feet, so I made sure to put it in our toy room. There isn't any lamps, televisions, or breakables in the toy room besides a window, but the balls aren't big enough for that to be a real concern. The light up display uses AAA batteries that aren't included, but it isn't a huge deal. I have noticed that the ball goal seems to use the batteries up pretty quick if the boys are playing for any long amount of time. The bars running through the middle help stabilize it, and the net catches most of the balls unless the boys shots are just way off.Honestly, I think this thing is great. It stows away to make itself smaller, although if you don't have the space it could easily go outside or in the garage, and it's just a ton of fun. I've actually enjoyed playing with the kids. Ours came with four mini balls to shoot with and a pump to pump up the balls. You can also use other balls that are similar in size or smaller, and the goal does register them. The goal seems to do a fair job of accurately measuring each basket made, but I've noticed if they put a bunch of balls through it in close succession, it doesn't pick up on each one. Kids often want to shove every toy through the ball goal, and it just doesn't work out like that.Still, good set up and the extra balls are nice. It makes it easier for them to play doubles or play with the adults and it does work with other ball toys. The sounds are alright. They're loud enough and my nephews seem to enjoy. This thing would make an awesome Christmas or birthday gift, for sure. It has helped us get a lot of their extra energy out, and it's kind of fun. If you're an adult and playing you can always stand back further to make it more fair for the babies and more fun for yourself. I'd get this again. Honestly, the price is comparable to other brands I've seen like Pop-A-Shot. Actually, compared to Pop-A-Shot for the kids, the price is much more reasonable on our new Franklin set.

Great for keeping the kids active indoors
We live in the Pacific Northwest, which has a lot of cold wet weather keeping kids from playing outdoors. This is an excellent way to keep them active indoors! Especially if you're somewhere currently under stay-at-home orders. Great way for homeschoolers to get PE, too! This is great for one or two kids to play at a time. I love how small it folds up when not in use.

Ryan basketball
I purchased this as a gift for my granddaughter. Per my son, it wasn’t difficult to assemble and seems well made and sturdy. The entire family is having fun with it. He appreciated how it folds up so it can be stored against a wall in the garage when not in use and that a ball pump was included.
