I don't know why they think small working end pliers need small grip ends... it works but bigger handles would be nice.

Purchased to cleanly close bead crimp covers. Works well but make sure you have enough room to get the pliers inbetween the beads and end of beading wire loop/clasp/wire guard. Works well

These are pretty cool pliers they work like they're intended to do they give you a really nice round end and work well! Definitely well worth the money!

This is a passably decent tool, slightly better than using the round part of regular 2mm crimping pliers, and roughly equivalent to the round part of 3mm crimpers. I used it to close some 4mm crimp covers over glued stretch cord knots. It's clearly designed for the more common 3mm crimp covers, so it wasn't ideal for the 4mm, which it had trouble holding and dented a little, but 3mm crimp covers are too small for this application, and I wasn't going for high end jewelry so I got it to work. The bent jaws are a very nice feature, allowing for a more natural hand position. It's fiddly and tricky to use, though, and the jaws are wider than they need to be. I got the best results when I put the crimp cover over the knot with my fingers (the pliers had a tendency to slip and flip the crimp cover to an unhelpful orientation if I tried to put it on with them), then used the flat part of the jaws to do the initial close of the crimp cover. Then I used the rounded part to shape it. If I tried to close it with the rounded divot, it tended to close all wonky, and the flat section was better at closing it straight. I would have designed this tool differently, with both 3mm and 4mm hemispherical divots like the Magical Crimper has for 2mm crimps. Bottom line, I don't think this is an essential tool, since you can buy a crimper for 3mm crimps that does 3mm crimp covers well (I used to have one but it's disappeared). But if you have an extra $12, it might be worth it. I'm still hoping someone will make a better tool for my 4mm crimp covers.

I love these pliers! I was trying to close crimp covers with my regular. "flat" pliers and was so frustrated and it was taking so long to do each one. Plus if I squeezed too hard I'd wreck the cover. These pliers make the job SO much easier. I haven't had a lopsided cover or a flattened cover since I started using these pliers. These are a must-have tool if you're going to cover those ugly crimps. I put the cover on my work table and then use the pliers to pick it so it's not crooked. One or two squeezes is all it takes. I'm very happy with these and would recommend them to anyone. I use 3mm covers.

Arrived with jaws misaligned so it’s not even possible to use it. Not sure I’ll rebuy given this reviews and this experience.

I find the product hard to use

I am still learning how to use the crimp cap tool - I have ruined quite a few caps, but I am learning. It is so easy to use - I don't need alot of pressure to close the caps over the crimp tube. I have taken a picture and as soon as one of my grandkids come by I will post a picture of how nice it looks.

Glad to receive product not used it as yet but sure it will make using and closing crimp beads easier. Thankyou.

I found the tool needs detailed instructions instructions, for example what size crimp beads are recommended to be used with it? It is very fiddly to use and many of the crimped beads were not as nice as I could do by had.
