Does this extend the life if the latex?

It should as it will condition and protect the latex. However it’s too early for us to make official claims as to extending the life of the bands. It also depends on how they are being used and treated.

I have had my bands for several years and never used. They still look new but should I use this before using them or is it more for the aesthetics?

While it does condition the latex it is really More for Aesthetics
