Will it catch voles ?

If they’re as big and heavy as a rat and you put the right bait in the tube, I don’t see why not. Rats seem to love peanut butter, so that’s what I used to get them. I have no idea what to use for voles, but it would have to have a scent to make them want to go in to get it.

How wide and tall is the entrance hole?

2" x 2", but don't worry, this trap will kill a 1-2 lb rat. They can compress themselves to fit into tight spaces, so the opening is sufficient. If you have larger rats, better get a tomcat!

Can this be used outside

We used it in our garage. I wouldn’t leave it outside during heavy rains or for months on end but for a few nights to catch a few problematic rats, it should be fine.

We have small rats that have evaded traditional rat traps, are too big for mouse traps, and are clever. Been struggling for weeks only to have them eating a buffet of fruit, cheese and peanut butter but not set off any traps. Then we bought these traps. In 4 days, we’ve caught 4 rats. We plan to buy more as well. They are easy to bait, easy to set, and easy to clear. They have killed instantly. And the spring is so tight that when triggered, we can hear it inside! Excellent product and we are so thankful to be getting rid of these rodents.
