These kitchen shears are a great addition to any household. They are useful in the kitchen and beyond, like the garden. I never had a pair and now envision having them to use instead of a knife. I have cutup a whole chicken and they worked great. They are sharp and cut effortlessly through the skin and raw meat. They also cut carrots and celery with no problem. I can't wait for the summer to experience the crablegs we love to eat. The bottle opener and nut cracker are an extra bonus. The Kaylon kitchen shears are a great multitasking tool for any home.

I am a tolerant person who rarely leave bad reviews on Amazon, because I believe ‘you get what you paid for' works truely on Amazon. Before I made every purchase I definitely checked the buyers reviews. While this time I made a fastest return refund.This shears is poorly made, flimsy built, roughly edge-polished, and very light weighted. The blades are much thinner than the average brands(see the last photo, compared with my old Farberware). When I opened the black plastic packing bag, the blades just twisted(see the 4th photo)Can't believe the seller says it could cut chicken bones with these thin blades. Are you joking?Actually these shears is a big shame of ‘Made in China’. It must be joking to sell these poorly made item for more than 10 bucks, with these good reviews(I was cheated by these false praises!) Even in dollar-shop I won't give this flimsy junk a damn. I'm Chinese and I don't refuse those made in China bargains. But this 10-dollar junk? Please don't waste your time and money.One star for the quickest customer service of Amazon. Smoothly refunded and no need to spend for returning charges.

The shears look great and are as sharp as a sword! These are much leaner as well than my old bulky pair. So far I've used them to cut mostly vegetables and chicken, but I'm sure they could be used for just about all of your standard or even heavy duty kitchen needs. They cut through the thick pieces of chicken with no problem at all. The handle feels good and comfortable for both myself and my wife and our hand sizes are very different.It also feels like it may have some sort of non-slip coating on it so that's another plus. Overall great buy.

I love these shears!!! They are heavy duty and SHARP, they get the job done. I have always wanted a pair just for my kitchen, and these do more than just cut my veggies I love the bottle opener and nut cracker.Now the only problem I have is keeping them out of my kids hands to cut cardboard and plastic for their science projects.

I bit flimsy, but should work ok for light use.

These are probably the most cheaply made shears I've ever purchased and I'm looking into if I can return them. The blades do not actually cut (or touch for that matter) and the handles are made of such cheap, low grade plastic that bits were actually flaking off. I could not even cut a piece of paper with these let alone anything else in the kitchen, I would highly recommend not buying them.
