DJECODazzling Birds Colored Sand and Glitter Craft Kit

My niece is 6 years old and has been bummed and idle during her remote instruction breaks. I got this for her as an alternative to t.v. or zoom recess and lunch. She loves activity sets and this one is so much fun. Age limit is 6+, I would not get this for a younger child. There is sand that needs to be funneled back in to plastic containers, and little stickers that need to be carefully peeled off. The glitter needs to be knocked back in, or else it sticks to the box. I gently knock the box and the glitter falls back in. I absolutely love Djeco toys. My husband is french and my in-laws give my daughter toys from this brand. Excellent quality.

These are really cool sets. We've purchased a few, and everyone loves them. Good for a 4 year-old, with assistance, but also an fantastic set for a 10 year-old. You basically peal off a section of the picture, which leaves a sticky surface. Then you pour sand or glitter over the area. The picture is in the box when you do this, so you shake off the extra sand in the box and there's a little hole in the corner of the box to pour the extra sand back in the jar. How cool is that? Still a messy project (not too messy), but art is messy. Lots of fun!

We play this with my 4 year old who loves the sand. The glitter part is harder to work with.

My daughter loves these kits. It takes a little practice and time getting the stickers off and how to sprinkle the glitter on while limiting the colors from mixing (need to do darker colors first, otherwise sometimes the glitter will stick to areas from where lighter color is already) but they are pretty kits. My daughter is 10. This one is exceptionally pretty since they are fish.

Came from Santa for Christmas for my 7 year old. It’s very fun!
