The Complete Infidel's Guide to the Koran

After reading this book, my impression of Mr. Spencer remains unchanged. He met his usual high standards. His work is an important contribution to the debate about Islam that can be so full of deception and inaccuracies. As one can see by reading my other reviews of Robert Spencer's books, I enthusiastically endorse his work. His command of the subject matter is flawless and undeniable. He supports his facts and opinions with unassailable citations. Mr. Spencer has a natural talent for stating his case and proving it. Moreover, he takes what would appear to be at first blush to be a dry subject and makes it interesting by illustrating how the Qu'ran plays such an important role in terrible events around the World. It is hard for those who are unfamiliar with the hadiths and history of Muhammad to understand large segments of the Qu'ran and it is for that reason that I believe this work is so important. Those who lack the time to thoroughly examine Islamic doctrine for themselves can gain an understanding that meets or exceeds their needs by simply reading this book and "The Truth About Muhammad." Both books can be easily read in a day or two and readers will advance their ability to understand political issues related to Islam and can avoid falling for the numerous deceptions advanced to hide the true nature of the Islamic faith. My only hesitation in endorsing this book is that Mr. Spencer is so adept at organization and presentation that one might gain the false perception that the Qu'ran is an organized, logically written book, but the truth is that it is hard to imagine that a more poorly written and organized book than the Qu'ran could be produced. One needs to read the original to see that the Qu'ran is what it appears to be - a book that was created and organized by early Muslims that had little experience in reading and writing books. It follows that the Qu'ran is about as well written and organized as the work of a first grade class and far from being evidence of Muhammad's claim that he was called by God to be humanity's Messenger, it is proof positive that he was but one of many pretenders, albeit one that was successful in this life. This book will make you realize that even if one accepted the false assertion that Islamic doctrine stems solely from the Qu'ran as many Islamic apologists seem to try and suggest, a Qu'ran only Islam may be less clear and therefore more susceptible to false claims about its meaning, but it is no less a religion of violence than is Islam based on the Qu'ran, hadith and history of Muhammad. I would like to close with one last thought. A democracy is only as strong as its voters as it is the will of those who vote that ultimately control the direction the nation will take. As voters we have an obligation to be informed so that we may cast our vote wisely and not waste it by falling prey to slick propaganda and deception. Mr. Spencer's latest work will help you meet your obligation to cast an informed vote on some of the most important issues of our time so please buy it and read it as soon as you can. You will not regret it.

Highly recommend this book by Robert Spencer. You can get a Koran from a used bookstore (the Dawood translation) and check citations, using this great guide. The important 'you got'ta KNOW this' information is well presented. This GUIDE boils down the duplication, the extraneous stories that the Koran mixes and hashes repeatedly, there are the true hate speech chapters (suri) about the killing of people who disagree with Mohammed as well as Jews, Christians, homosexuals and other non-believers. I still recommend you read the Koran, but the use of this guide and the explanations of Mr. Spencer are exceptionally helpful. You can quickly reference the most used suris. This was the first of Mr. Spencer's books that I read - accurate, well researched and easy. Over the last few months, I've ordered more of Mr. Spencer's books as well as following him on his JihadWatch.com, along with debates with Muslim clerics, lectures and speeches. Along with Dr. David Wood of ACTS17 Answering Muslims.com, we are educated in all things Islamic, Koran and Mohammed, to include the Sahih in the Hadith. Mr. Spencer was banned by the British Home Office from traveling to Britain to speak in Summer of 2013. The imams in Britain protests so vehemently, I thought the British Home Office caved into pressure perhaps they thought Muslims would riot. Mr. Spence states the Koran citation, the Hadith and others that reinforce their meaning, brutality and intolerance. I wonder why on earth are these Islamic, violent people allowed to immigrate to Britain, Europe, and then the USA? So much for the Religion of Peace? Time and time again, we sit and watch in horror at the bombings, suicide bombings and just outright murder in the name of Allah, Isalm, Moha, and Koran - how much do Islamist need to convince our dim leaders that Religion of Peace doesn't exist in Islam. Kill the Jew, Kill the Christians, Kill the unbelievers and beat wives - hate speech - all of it. Then our government caved into CAIR pressure to remove Mr. Spencer and many others from lecturing to the FBI, US Army & other government organizations. It seems to be happening a lot - We wish to use free speech to educate people about what Islam is, and groups such as CAIR influence the sponsors or hotel to cancel. We can only surmise - looking at the tv and seeing riots in France and Britain - and these sponsors think this will happen to them? Courage, courage! Even the US Government, President Obama mentioned that "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam." WHAT?? My ears almost fell off over that and I had to look on line to see what else he said - but that statement alone - that statement alone- bodes bad tidings for free speech when we tell the truth about the barbarism of Islam. Read this book - read others of Roberts and Mr. Warner's and catch the videos - EDUCATE YOURSELF! Write your Senator and Congressional Rep and protest that Islam is not this religion of peace! Look at the Dearborn Michigan Arab Festival 2010, 2011 and see police arresting Christians who are peacefully handing out the Gospel of John pamphlets. The Police Chief was a Muslim - then to find out the officers didn't want to arrest the Christians, but did so, as they were 'just following orders." Just following orders? Wasn't that said at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials for justifying murdering millions of innocent people? So where does this start? Yes. Jews, Political prisoners, prisoners of war, homosexuals, Jehovah Witnesses - when I read the Koran - the list would pretty much be the same, just add Christians to the list - as is going on now. The original hate speech - the Koran. LIve and learn.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It uses a clear, simple analysis of some of the simplest problems with Islam, from a non-Muslim's perspective. It is primarily aimed at explaining why there is conflict between some Muslims and non-Muslims, as well as explain some of the basic themes that can be found in the Koran and the Hadith. Is it completely unbiased? Probably not. However, it does make a decent attempt to present various points of view on key concepts. Much of what is presented will not apply to the beliefs of Muslims most of us will encounter in day-to-day life, but if you want to understand what's going on in the Middle East, it's invaluable.

A good explanation of why murder and mayhem is so widespread in the Muslim world and what we can expect in our own societies if complacent Infidels don't bother to understand the Koran.

Robert Spencer's "Complete Infidel's Guide to the Koran" is the most comprehensive analysis of WHAT, WHY and HOW Islam poses such a serious existential threat to Western Culture and Civilization. It does so courageously, by quoting and thus exposing the Koran's explicit incitement to violence against Jews, Christians and all other non-Muslims. The author also explains why the general obligation of Muslims to interpret literally the Koran's contents directly leads to hostility and violence against non-Muslims and Western Culture. This book is a huge eye opener for anyone wanting to understand better beyond mainstream "narratives" of Islam as a means to Peace and Harmony which are nothing more than just "narratives" of convenience and deceit aiming at the gradual Islamisation of the West.

Very well researched book. Robert Spencer has done an excellent job. Eye opener for the ‘infidels’. It is a matter of survival for the infidels and their future generations. Ginnie which has come out of the bottle 1300 years ago, has to be put back in the bottle otherwise it would gobble up the whole world.

We in Europe shoud become engrossed in this religion and the intentions of which.

A eye-opening book about the contents of the Quran! Recommended by Timothy Keller. This is one of the books that I will read more than once.
