It works. Gotta keep the saliva with the berry mixed into it without swallowing for a minute or two at least to fully soak the tongue in it. Then sour things do taste very sweet. However I melted my teeth eating lemons, that's the biggest downside really. Eating things that are too sour and dissolve teeth is too easy and fun on this.

Bought these for a fun experience with my kids. Also used them to make smoothies without added sweeteners. Loved them.

We bought these for a party and put together quite the spread of sour things to try, including lemons, limes, grapefruit, kiwis, pineapple, strawberries, salt and vinegar chips, various sour candies, kombucha, and sour beer. Some people experienced a stronger effect than others, many of us tried a second berry. The general consensus is that the burn from the stuff like lemons and limes was still present so they didn't really taste sweet at all, but the kiwis, pineapple, and strawberries tasted like the best versions of those things they ever could have been. The sour candies had the same problem as the lemons and limes. My best advice is try these, they were definitely interesting, but not as big of an effect as some people seem to claim.

I bought these for many reasons, let me just say they work really well on sour foods, but that is ALL! Lime juice and fruits taste amazing after a berry. The downside- they work too well. Everything is sweet for at least an hour after one berry. Powerade is the most grotesque syrupy drink after one of these bad boys. I took a sip of seltzer the other day thinking it would be sweet and I literally threw up in my mouth. It does work on alcohol, but it makes everything taste too sweet and does not amplify flavor. Overall, very bizarre experience but these can be fun for a party.

It doesn’t work. Maybe because it’s freeze dried instead of the actual fruit.

Yes, it was kinda fun once. Made strawberries and green grapes sweeter and less tart. Didn’t try lemons or pineapple. But who can afford it? The product photo shows 5 beautiful berries. The package says 6 berries. I got neither *see photo.

Made my nasty suja drink taste sweet, this is the bitter one with lemon in it.
