The Overstreet Guide To Collecting Video Games

Assumed the name "Overstreet" implied a book similar to the Overstreet Comic Price guide, an indispensable resource. This was nothing like that, disjointed and not at all comprehensive. A total waste of money.

While this isn't a price guide, it's not meant to be. This is a guide to collecting, similar to the overstreet's guide to collecting comics and guide to collecting animation art. It provides a history of video gaming and a comprehensive look at different developers and franchises. Given that it never promoted itself as a price guide i'm not sure why the other reviewer here seemed to think so.

What a waste of money. Very little information and the information that is there is poorly written and out of date. Even more insulting, the book is FILLED with advertisements. Anything worthwhile in this book can be found online for free Don't waste your time or money on this.

I'm enjoying the content, but I was hoping there would actually be a price guide in it. It is really just a small book with some interesting historical content. Not really worth the price.
