A decent read
The story was good but our hero was too easily captured for my liking always seemed to come off second best but eventually saved the day . I will give the next one a read cos I did enjoy

Good Thriller.
A good thriller that has Sean Faint given the task of uncovering the reason why a multi millionaire constructs a private island and wants to bring it into the national waters of the Uk. While conducting an investigation Faint establishes a relationship with an employee who happens to be an undercover Police officer and discovers that there are a lot of ex special forces looking after things for the millionaire. Both are taken captive at different times and Faint undergoes torture but eventually manages to escape with the Police Officer and saves the UK economy from breakdown. A good read with the only downside being that in the tight situations that Faint got into with the baddies he would have been murdered and disposed of.

Sean Faint Book1
I was a little sceptical at first but gradually warmed into it until I was set 'ablaze.'M.Y, wrote of a person who was vulnerable, even as someone who could fight his way out of trouble. His ability to get caught, fight with his enemy hand-to-hand, and sustain bruises and broken bones, concussed, and ending up in hospital, came across as human.I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next.

A good yarn - ish but easy to put down.
I need the hero to be less of a wimp. That's the 2 star.Story dragged a bit, and standard lone wolf spy formula was adhered to so no surprises. The hero was flat and boring in character.

A canny read
James Bond it is not. But plenty of globe trotting action. This chap is a bit slow at times he gets caught out by his adversaries quite a bit.

Fireland was pretty damn good
I should start with saying that I read this in it's first few drafts and that even at that stage (Any author will concede that before final editing anything can happen), Fireland was pretty damn good. Shades of James Bond - although Sean Faint is even more badass than Connery on his best/worst day, exotic locations - Hello, you have a boat that's an island?!, tension in extremis, romantic undertones - even tough girls need love too... or do they? and a really, really toxic yet attractive villain - Greatness. I won't go into detail on the Henchman but Wow! What a novel! I genuinely loved it.In all honesty, I found this to be a joyous read. Enough twists and turns to keep you wanting to read more and portioned into bite sized pieces that allow you to read a chapter and then stop. You won't. Trust me. This is one of those Start-reading-and don't-turn-the-light-off-until-finished type of books. Best £1.53 you'll spend this month.

Riveting
Fire land, a very good book. Trying to take down a madman and his army of former military. I could read more of this series
