Piercing Aftercare Spray 4 oz, Saline Spray for Piercings

I wish I’d taken a before and after picture of my piercing. I got a belly button piercing several years ago. It’s been fine for a long time but it recently got irritated by an allergic reaction to some new jewelry I put in. It swelled up and got red and had pus 😭 it was like that for a solid week, even after swapping the jewelry back out. Every time it was touched or bumped or snagged it was excruciating, it felt like my skin was ripping, and a red bump formed on each opening of the piercing. I thought the piercing was going to fail after all this time. It was awful and nothing I had tried was working to alleviate it. As a Hail Mary, I got this piercing spray in hopes that it might help. I sprayed it on my piercing immediately after opening the box and then again at bedtime. When I woke up in the morning? Swelling: gone. Redness: gone. Pain: gone. Red bumps: gone. Pus: gone. I don’t know by what miracle this stuff works, but I didn’t expect it to be able to make a difference until I’d hit several days of consistent use. But after just two uses, it truly looks normal again and feels normal too. It’s like nothing ever happened. I wish I could give this product more than five stars, it completely saved my piercing and alleviated a week’s worth of major discomfort and infection. What a relief!! I cannot recommend it enough. Next time, I will use this on my piercings at the very first hint of irritation!!!

Okay, hear me out! I got my septum pierced two months ago and was using just regular old saline sprays. One that I purchased at the shop (which only lasted about two weeks on 2-3 cleanings a day) and neilmed wound wash. The reason I got the wound wash was because the other barely lasted and was expensive to buy consistently, whereas the wound wash was six dollars at Walmart and would last double the time frame. However, about a month into my healing I started to notice my nose ring getting stuck and no amount of the saline spray would help so the skin would end up ripping. Sorry tmi. Lol but also, my nose started to burn and sting like nobody’s business. Even just spring saline wash on it hurt so bad that I thought I either had an infection or I was going to get an infection. The little bumps started to form and looked like pus was becoming an issue, it just wasn’t looking good. So of course I run to Amazon to try to find a solution, and I’m glad I did! I will honestly never buy another piercing spray in my life. This stuff is THE stuff. I noticed from my very first spray instant relief! It’s also way easier to actually spray this in my nose than any other spray, which would just go up my nose and that’s a whole other situation. I’ve been using this spray for about a week and a half and I must say that my piercing already looks way more along in the healing process than it has this entire time. No more pain, no more dumps, no more dryness and getting stuck. One spray and my jewelry moves with no issues. No more skin ripping and getting stuck. I’m so glad I got this!! I also have extremely sensitive skin and this is just amazing. I highly recommend if you want your piercing to heal faster and the way it’s supposed to. It may also be a small bottle, but mine still feels full and I’ve been using it as recommended. I had read some comments in here about people being hesitant with the tea tree oil in this and I just got to tell you that your concerns are valid, but don’t be! Tea Tree oil is a natural antibacterial essential oil. My family has been using it for years to treat so many ailments so when I tell you that it’s trustworthy, it is. And seeing that in this product gave me more comfort because straight saline is only gonna do so much; all it’s doing is just rinsing your piercing out, which is great don’t get me wrong, but this is actually killing bacteria and helping the healing process along, not prolonging it. Get it! You will thank me and this product later!!

I picked this up after getting my child’s ears pierced because the place we went to didn’t provide any aftercare spray. Honestly, I’m really glad I did. This worked great. I mainly used it for cleaning and keeping the area sterile, but my child also said it felt really soothing, which made the whole process a lot easier. The spray comes out very even and gentle, not harsh at all, which I liked especially for a fresh piercing. It’s also super convenient to carry in a purse, so I was able to use it on the go when needed. The size is perfect for that. Overall, I would definitely recommend this over some of the basic solutions you get at piercing shops. It just feels cleaner, easier, and more comfortable to use.

This piercing aftercare spray is easy to use and convenient I like that it comes in a spray bottle which makes applying it quick and simple It’s gentle and works well as part of my piercing care routine I’m happy with the product and would recommend it.

Wonderful spray, gentle spritz for your piercings- love the nozzle and using this HOWEVER please consult your piercer. Super fresh piercings should use sterile saline ONLY for the first 6 weeks (to 6 months). This is a great cleaner for irritation on older piercings, but because of all the included ingredients please work with your piercer to make sure this is okay. My piercer does not recommend this for brand new piercings.

This piercing aftercare spray is really really good, great packaging, and fast delivery. I ended up buying bad nose jewellery that infected my piercing. I sprayed this on my piercing and got immediate relief, and within 24 hours after two cleanings I could tell it was healing my infected piercing. By hour 36 no more pus and no more irritation. Still healing with the new jewellery I put in my nose and I’m only cleaning once a day now.

MY FAVORITEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! ANY PIERCING/IRRITATION BUMPS DO NOT STAND A CHANCE!!! I repierced my nose a year ago and as it was freshly pierced I kept catching it in my towel after showering…(more than i care to admit). As you can imagine my piercing site was not doing well, I began to see a small red bump forming around it and started to freak out naturally. I’ve seen the piercing horror stories, stuff rejecting, extreme piercing bump cases, scarring and having mine somewhere so visible I wanted to avoid all of the above. I think i read someone recommending this on reddit and after giving it a try (LEAVING MY PIERCING ALONE/NOT OVER OR UNDER CLEANING IT) the bump went away. I have not stopped using this product since and I am 5 more piercings deep :DD HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Lo mejor que he comprado nunca. Me he tratado 11 piercings con este producto y en cuestión de una semana de uso se me había deshinchado totalmente, limpia en profundidad sin necesidad de tocarlo mucho.

Ho un piercing al sopracciglio da circa 3 mesi. Nelle ultime settimane tendeva a irritarsi e passava solamente con la crema antibiotica. Ho voluto provare questo come soluzione alternativa. Il piercing era irritato, la pelle era rossa e gonfia. L’ho usato per qualche giorno e la situazione è migliorata, mentre la normale salina non mi faceva lo stesso effetto. Forse non lo consiglio per un piercing fresco, ma se avete problemi di questo tipo può essere di aiuto.

Ich schreibe selten Bewertungen, aber wollte gerne meine Erfahrung teilen. Ich habe seit 6 Monaten ein Nostril Piercing, welches bis jetzt zwar nie richtig entzündet war, leider aber auch nicht abgeheilt ist. In den letzten Wochen war meine Nase dann zunehmend gerötet und plötzlich auch etwas geschwollen. Ich war sehr unsicher bezüglich der Inhaltsstoffe (und würde das Spray persönlich auch nicht bei einem ganz neuen Piercing verwenden, sondern eher auf Prontolind zurück greifen), aber musste jetzt einfach mal was ausprobieren! Ich habe das Piercingspray jetzt zwei Tage 3-4 täglich benutzt und meine Rötung ist fast weg, die Schwellung ebenfalls. Darüber bin ich erstmal sehr zufrieden!! Noch dazu kommt, dass ich seit ca 10 Jahren an einem Ohr zwei Piercings habe, die zwar eigentlich verheilt sind - manchmal aber rumzicken wenn ich darauf schlafe. Also habe ich beschlossen zusätzlich zum Nostril auch diese zu besprühen, und was soll ich sagen? Sie sind in einem perfekten Zustand und zwar so gut wie die letzten Jahre an keinem Tag!!! Ich kann kaum glauben, nach zwei Tagen schon so eine Veränderung fest zu stellen. Ich denke jeder muss für sich ausprobieren, ob das Produkt einem hilft. Ich bin überglücklich es gekauft zu haben und werde mein Nostril erstmal nicht aufgeben!

Short story: this stuff is the best and you should buy it. The attached photos are of my 2 two month old piercings in silver. And as a reference my 5 year old well healed conch piercing in gold. Long story: I got an anti-tragus & helix piercing in my right ear. I'd been using a NeilMed Piercing Aftercare Fine Mist in the AM & PM as directed by the gentleman who pierced my ear. After 2 weeks I was running pretty low, so I picked up NeilMed NeilCleanse Wound Wash thinking it would be similar. It wasn't, definitely more of an irrigation than a fine mist. I went through that stuff even faster. So I thought I'd try my luck with this sea salt spray from Base Labs, I liked that it came in a package of two so I likely wouldn't run out as quickly. Initially I was a little concerned about the additional ingredients. I wasn't sure how it would interact with my piercings because my ears are extremely sensitive. I can't wear anything that isn't hypoallergenic and my lobe piercings get infected randomly every few months. I received the salt spray 3 weeks after my piercings, and that day they were feeling particularly irritated. After several sprays and a few minutes the irritation went away. I’ve been using this stuff ever since. The Formula: As I mentioned earlier I was concerned about the additional ingredients, but I think they’re in really small quantities. Like there’s just enough to make a difference, but not so much that it overpowers the benefits of saline spray. Like once I, by accident, got some in my mouth and it just tasted like tears. The Bottle: I’d say if you have 2 piercings and you spray them each 4 times morning and night, one bottle should last you 3-4weeks. The spray isn’t a mist, nor is it an irrigation, somewhere in the middle that will help you soak your piercings well. I use this stuff like Frank’s Hot sauce, I put that s*** on everything. I spray both piercings in the AM & PM, and twice a week I spray several Q-tips to get at any build up and then spray my ear like crazy in an effort to irrigate. I use this stuff as an AM & PM facial spray, if I get a paper cut I use it before I resort to polysporin, literally anything skin related I try this stuff on it. So with very very high usage, I’ve gone through 1.5 bottles in 3 weeks. Final Thoughts: For my next piercings I will 100% be using this spray. I’m pretty confident It will work even better than pure saline spray on new piercings. I cannot recommend this product enough, especially if you’re like me and you find yourself constantly running out of piercing after-care spray.
