It has limited applications
Apparently this probe will work well with 2-wire coil on plug set-ups. When you get to 3, or 4 wire cop's, these have heavy shielding internally, and the result of that is the signal (picture on a scope) you get is significantly distorted, and not looking much at all like the expected dwell, spark, and burn line. Now since most of my applications are 3 or 4 wire cop's (which are very popular starting around 2007, and up), I returned this probe because I consider it - not usable. However, if your application is a 2-wire cop, I believe it will work very well.

Good so far.
For the little I used it, it done the work just fine, helped me get to the bottom of troubles with a car, which was a malfunctioning coil, later was turnned out that all batch of them are defective, but when you do the coil disconnect routine, it looks fine, but with this I got to see that the coil was actually producing very weak spark, goid for idle but under load, it failed.
