Instructions are not with these. We found some online. Plastic is a little more flimsy than I would like. Otherwise they are functioning well.

I like the set... but there's a few things not so great. In two of the styles, there's only one each of the colors. It would be betrer if there was 2 of each type in all the colors. It's good that it's plastic, which keeps it light weight, and the texture is good for holding the style in place, but the edges feel *unfinished* and there's little bits I've had to smooth off where it came out of the mold. So I think a little bit more effort could be put into it before sending it to the customer. The last complaint is I have is I had to look online to really see how to really use them. There really should be something to show you how to best use them, or give you examples of styles. So yes, it comes up short in a few areas, but the product is usable, durable, and does what it should. Its a good weight so your style wont be too heavy to last the day or make it uncomfortable. You just have to overlook the *finish* (or lack of...), and the lack of instruction. I really like the pieces, and it is easy to use once you know how. Not sure why you would need 3 each of the puller/flipper tools & the beading tools... seems like they throw those in to increase the number of items you get without reducing thier profits. 1 each would be sufficient, 2 each would give you spares so maybe each of your kids get thier own, but 3 each is more than you need if your not a salon, & they would use more expensive products.

Bought to try to use in long hair. It was too hard to understand how to use it and the print was too small to read instructions. When using one it broke, needs to be flexible.

Pros: It works and does what it needs to do. It will take me a little to master the braiding with tools, but made our braiding in the morning a lot faster and looked great (a little messy). Cons: A little more fragile (one broke before I even got to use it) and too hard for my liking. Perhaps a foam one would be better.

Don't buy these for practical use - buy them for experiments, or learning. They are visible under all but the thickest hair and although they are too large for short hair, they're really hard to use on one's own long hair. At the price it's fine, whatever, but I ended up just throwing them all out.

This is so easy to use! I watched a video on how to do it. Made braiding a moving 4 year olds hair simple. I have never been able to do any kind of French braid. This picture is my first time ever using the tool. Worth the money! Her hair held in place all day and she looked adorable!
