UPDATE: August 11th:Pup is now 8 months old and 70+ lbs and the pole, clip, and rope, are all holding up just fine. A couple of the toys have been destroyed, but they seem easy to replace. The plastic casings still slide around, but I slide them back & it's not a big deal. The twist lock on the carabiner has come loose once, but not all the way and it didn't release. We enjoy it so much that I sent one to my mom when she got a lab puppy.Original review from March 29th:My baby puppy loved to chase the tip of an L-shaped stick he found in our yard, so when at 10 weeks and 17lbs he sat on it & broke it I knew he would enjoy having a more industrial version. I looked around at a few of these, but chose this one because of the reinforcing plastic liner inside the rope loop (where the carabiner connects), and the multiple toy types to change out.He's now 18 weeks and 38lbs, and he LOVES every bit of it. We use the braided cloth out in the yard, and the rope knot indoors (not connected to the pole). He is pulling the knot apart, but that's just puppies.Parts that seem super durable:-- the pole screws together-- the handle is ergonomically molded-- the carabiner has a twist-lock-- the rope has a plastic liner to keep it from binding on the carabiner-- the clip ring is welded to the end of the poleParts that seem not so durable:-- the rope knot is already coming apart-- I worry about the tensile strength of the clip (TBD)-- the clear plastic casing that surrounds the stitching at the bottom of the rope tends to slide up & off the part it's supposed to protect.

They do say it isn't for heavy biters. Our puppy loved it. It was his favorite toy. But he was picking it up and slamming it around and stripped a gear in the tail. We do plan to buy another even though he will probably break it as well. The shark itself is high quality. He still uses it as a chew toy or an indoor fetch toy.

It’s a poorly made version a really good idea. The tail stopped moving in a week or so that we got it and my puppy has not even lost his teeth so definitely not an aggressive chewer. I opened it up to check why it stopped working and found that the gears are made of cheap plastic which could not hold up against a puppy trying to interact with the moving tail.The outside is of better quality and seems to be able to withstand chewing in the long run but will see.In summary - Waste of money!

I was really excited to get this I have a mixed AST she weighs around 65 pounds and he has tons of energy. She loves this toy, and as soon as she hears the tink of the carabiner she comes runing! The toys that come with are pretty well put together and held up until they didn't.The pole itself is super sturdy, it holds up no matter how hard she pulls, and it does not bend. The handle has a rubber coating so it's easy to hold onto. It has a plastic coating on the rope that the carabiner holds on the end of it. Unfourtnely she had the plastic chewed off inabout 2 weeks, we still played with until the plastic was gone, but then she was quickly able to chew through the rest of the rope. Overall this is a good toy and really helps her get in a good play session. If you have a aggressive chewer with a strong bite it isn't going to last long but its great while it does.

My dog LOVED this, but unfortunately, the tail mechanism stopped working less than a week into owning it. The battery is still running, and you can hear it, but the tail part no longer moves. I have disassembled it and tried everything. I wish there was a way to contact the seller to get a replacement part.

My dog loves this. The charge runs out fast

My dog enjoyed this at first and was good about not destroying it but on about the 3rd day it stopped working. I thought maybe it just needed to be recharged so I tried that but no, it was broken. There was nothing physically wrong with it, like my dog didn’t break it, it just died. So I threw away the plastic tail and let him just play with the shark but he never got too excited by it again. I most likely wouldn’t repurchase something like this again, it was disappointing.

The media could not be loaded.  Ok so this is the best doodle toy our buddy loves this toy it’s great turn it on and away they go when he leaves it alone it stops on it own then once he touches it starts again my only concern is I may have to buy another when he destroys it lol Love that it’s a usb charge so no batteries required and last for quite sometime. For $14 well worth the money watching my buddy having fun. Definitely recommend !

We have a husky, and he loves playing with this, he's full of energy, and this helps us to keep him engaged, and happy.

Mein Chihuahua Mix Jimmy ist verliebt in seinen "Fischi". Da ist "Leben" drin. Das Bewegungselement muss man in den Hai würgen. Zum aufladen kann es zum Glück drin bleiben. Nach 2 - 3 Spielstunden muss er ans Netz.

Wow got this for my boy (dog) and he wants nuts for it! So much we can't take it off him.Never seen him so excited for something since the flirt pole.Brilliant toy hours of happiness it's given him and funny to watch him with it.Great buy

Great as a flirt pole, dog loves it. It is easy to hold and maneuver to keep your dog running and jumping. Not ideal if your dog likes to kill its prey once it catches it as the screw together portion came out. The silver part that screws together is glued onto the pole, glue isn't all that strong. I'll be able to super glue it back together but definitely a weak point.

Eigentlich ein echt tolles Spielzeug, und mein Hund hatte sich auch total gefreut. Doch es ließ sich schon nach der zweiten Runde nicht mehr aufladen also ging sofort wieder zurück. Sehr schade!
