easy way to digitize vhs tapes
I wanted to digitize our old family holiday vhs recordings, this device was a godsend and very easy to set up and use, plus it was a very reasonable price.however you stil need a few leads to connect it up and capture software on the PC, the required cables I had laying around at home and the software was a free download.I bought this and have managed to start digitizing our old tapes, the quality is as good as the original vhs recordings although they were not great when compared to todays devices.however this device has enabled me to save and share our old home movies with family and ensure that we don't lose them due to degradation or lack of a vhs device to play them.highly recommended device.

Great device, does exactly as it says
I'm using this to upscale the AV output from an old Sony Video8 Handycam to 60FPS HD for digital video conversion and this device works perfectly.My only complaint is that Micro USB is outdated these days and it would be better if the power input was USB-C, but it comes with a Micro USB cable at least, so you don't have to bother trying to dig out an old one.

Didn't work at all for me!
Tried both 720p and 1080p, kept saying no signal, the only image displayed was worse than just plugging in the component cables into TV without the box, basically standard PAL was all it would display, tried the switch going back and forth between 720p and 1080, same result. Both TV and monitor can display 720p and 1080p. Made sure the box had power and the PS3 was set to use the AV cable instead of the HDMI ( mine is broken hence the purchase) item returned.

Does the job
Works perfectly. Used to connect a Nintendo Wii to a new Smart TV with no av ports. Great picture and sound, no issues at all.
