Amazing Product
At first, I bought one to see how well it worked and fit my needs; now just about every door in my house has one on it! This company’s products are well built and are easy to install and set up. This company is my “go to” for door locks!

Easy to install and if it doesn't work quite right, it is usually pilot error.
Some of the reviews that I read gave me the impression that a number of the difficulties were not the locks fault but probably due to assumptions, bad troubleshooting or lack of experience. I had some troubles getting my new locks to work but I quickly determined and resolved the issues and found that these locks work GREAT! The design is sound but it can get complicated.One area that may need to be improved is the decision to get the gateway. I found some Youtube clips that helped understand what is going on but didn't answer if I need multiple gateways if I'm farther then bluetooth range or is there a work around if I ...... well I am not sure yet. Seems that the G2 Gateway is a simple device but costly if you need to buy more than one. I'm still going to school on this one.One of the biggest steps forward was to decide that having a smart deadbolt rather than the smart door handle checked all the boxes for us and saved us $ when I found this simple solution. We have a lot of doors and it could have gotten expensive if I let myself loose. If budget is a concern, proceed with caution.#1 - ID your most used doors and pathways and lock those down.#2 - choose to add the secondary doors if the budget allows.#3 - Then STOP............................if you want!? ;-)>

Works Great, Touchscreen Could Improve
I installed this product a few days ago. It was easy and works well. The only issue I've had so far is the touch screen has a couple of annoyances that need improving. First, it's not sensitive enough to your initial touch to light up and become active. When you approach the door, you first touch the screen which wakes it up and it lights up. Sometimes I have to tap it a few times to get it to recognize there's been a touch and that it needs to light up to receive an entry code. Second, the lock icon at the bottom (the 6 o'clock position) does not light up along with the other numbers. After you enter your code, if you're not familiar with the device you won't know where to touch last to unlock the device. Or to lock it for that matter. I know where it is so no problem for me. But if I have a guest and tell them the code, they'd have no idea where to touch unless I explain it to them. They'd touch the screen, enter the code....and then sit there wondering why it's not opening. If the lock icon would illuminate with the numbers it would be intuitive to users.

Update...Great customer service.
7/17/24 I received my replacement lock a couple of days ago. Just got the chance to install it. It works like a dream. I have the fob and card also. Love it. I have had this lock for about 6 months now and it works great. We had a power outage this past weekend and it went wonky. Tried all of the trouble shooting. I chatted with customer service and they were great. He walked me though some thing I had not tried, and when that didn't work he said they would replace it for me. (It is still within the warranty period.) Kenneth was great to work with.

Love this product!!!
The media could not be loaded. Love this product! I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this lock. I waited over 2 months before writing a review just to make sure I had no issues!I can tell you that this product is well worth the money! No issues! Very responsive touchpad, keys work great and so do the fobs that come with it! I installed it at my old apartment and again at this one. No issues with installation or anything!They send you a video to watch to help you install! Be very mindful when you are installing and it talks about a right or left facing door. That part of the video is VERY IMPORTANT! We have had no issues. They batteries haven’t needed to be changed or anything! Definitely recommend this product! We might eventually add the gateway but as of now the product works great and we don’t need that.Thank you for an amazing product!

Fine but not great
The smart lock I received is not like pictured in the listing, it is solid black and the numbers light up blue. It’s fine, not the end of the world but very difficult to see in the daylight to punch in your code. I wish it looked like the photos where circles light up with the numbers inside of them.The lock is pretty loud, and while you can turn off the beeping you can’t adjust how noisy the actual lock is. It would be nice if it had different volume settings for the beeping. Fairly often if you the lock doesn’t catch perfectly it will beep to let you know it’s not locked properly and your options are LOUD beep settings or no beeping at all. With the sound off you might not realize it didn’t catch properly.The lock was fine to install and the app works fine as well. Overall everything is OKAY, but I will probably replace it as soon as I have the budget to get something better.

One of the best smart lock in the market
Initially I bought kwikset smart lock ($200+) from Costco. Installed it, but could not get it to work. Instruction and auto door lock learning process was not easy. Returned that lock next day.I was researching a lock which is easy to install and cost wise economic. I found safely on amazon, I was amazed that this lock has lot of feature in this price. I followed the video step by step. Was able to make it work without any issues at all. I needed to expand the door hole a bit. I was able to do with chisel without any issues.Mobile app also works like charm. In future, will buy its remote router so that we can lock/unlock remotely. But currently, we don't have that requirement.My family is happy with this lock as we don't need to carry physical key with us anymore.I will highly recommend safely lock.
