LEGO Friends: Lights, Camera, Girl Power! (Chapter Book #2)

Was a little thrown off when I opened the package to see the book was taped on with bar codes - library like. Also noticed that many of pages were creased at the corner.

The Lego Friends series are excellent first Chapter Books! My seven year old daughter has been playing with Lego friends blocks for years and I read to he regularly since she was a baby. Thus, these Lego Friends Chapter Books were an excellent transition when she started reading on her own and wanted more challenging reading material. Now she reads to me every night, frequently from the Lego Friends Series, and very much understands the material. All of the Lego Friends Series books thus far have kept her interest throughout the book and I now hear her reenacting the scenes from the books with her Legos and she has adopted the book personalities for the different Friends figures.We travel frequently and we always ensure that we have a new book available- the Lego Friends Series books look great on Kindle Fire and keep my daughter occupied for hours on our regular trans-pacific flights. Each book has a unique enough plot to keep her attention, and that is impressive as she has read many of these at this point.Win-Win, as she is eagerly reading independently and the books are adding to her Lego blocks enjoyment.

My daughter is 10 and loves the Lego Friends series. My son (8) has enjoyed other Lego properties ie Star Wars, Ninjago, super heroes etc. This is finally a series totally aimed for girls. It is a pretty easy read for most 4th grade levels. There are a couple of friends books and once your child reads one they'll be hooked. They are all low priced and you can usually score a 4 for the price of 3 kids books. Highly recommend.

I recommend this for 7-12 .I chose this 5 star rating because I feel like this book teaches about friendship and working together.

My granddaughters loved the book and did not want to put it down. We bought all three chapters and made them happy.

I ordered this book excited that I could give a book as part of a birthday Lego theme gift I was giving. Why do I not like it? First, it is 60 pages not the stated 64. It is barely 1/4" thick and definitely, in no way, NOT worth $4.50. I feel cheated and so disappointed! I will not return it though because I don't have enough time to replace it before the birthday party. :(

I bought this for my 6 year old niece as it was on her request list and I liked the sound of the title (Girl Power). I did read it before I gave it to her and I am very impressed.It has an underlying story of girls helping each other and being there for one another. Also, when they pull together, they are successful too.I am very happy to recommend this book to young readers.

Bought this for my daughter's friend's birthday. It was a good price for a small cute gift for a young girl. Good for grade 2 reading.
