Good quality headphones.
A musician friend but me an electric guitar bundle that included an amp. However, since I DON'T live alone and I have limited space I invested in an amp adapter so I could plug in headphones when using the guitar. These fit well and don't feel heavy. The sound is good. The cord length works as well, long enough without a huge coil.
